since they gave a reason for people to do orvr for inf and renown. why not xp also ?

its nice to get decent inf and renown when you take a keep or bo. but why is it that im in a 24 wb and we finally do take a keep that might take anywhere from 40 mins, or maybe longer that they not really good xp to go with it ?

another little grip i have is why do they have to make it so darn easy to repair siege?

you and your wb are destroying the door to get inside and then an order goes in throws up some oil and starts pouring. so everyone stops what they are doing to take out the oil . so you and your wb starts destroying the oil and then bam its close to being gone so you and your wb can go back to work on the door, then you start seeing the oils hp rise fast and before you know it its at full strenght.  and have to wack away at it again while the guy behind the oil can be free from any sort of danger cause he got a healer to help him out if he were to get hit with some aoes. 

why do they make it so darn easy to defend  , you dont need to be close to the oil to use it. and repairng dose not take away from you

 at all.

you repair, pour oil. destroy rams or placement for a ram and bing , you are defending a keep . granted there is more then one keep in the game to go after if one is being attacked.

but i find that in most cases , if there is only a handful of players defending a keep. it can drive the attacking forces   to leave and find a bo to do instead or another keep.

isnt the point of warhammer to be about war, in your face fighting.

now in days i find my self telling the wb over and over and over to not pour oil, let them come in the door so then can at least get on the stairs. but  the idiots keep on defending like their life depends on it  while not realising  they are not getting anything from doing so.

4 hours straight defending a keep in sl only gives you 3000 xp.  that is crap...

so . not get rid of the oil repair, or at least add a timer on when you can repair  the oil like a 30 sec or 1 min timer.  that way the person behind the oil can only put up so much defence.

add more xp in orvr  , and everything will be sweet .

Here is the problem :

They released the game with most all exp. given in scenarios, because they could not fix the crashing problem.  So they redirected everyone to scenarios ( instanced ).  Everyone got sick of only doing scenarios and quit !

So to make a long story short, the game was not ready to be released.  The content was their, but lots of behind the scenes problems. This is why so many people are confused with why Warhammer was boring.

 Most bad releases were because of lack of content, poor performance and crashing.  Warhammer hid the crashing by redirection to scenarios.

This game was mostly scenario based to begin with, if anything got redirected it's people to ORvR which, given the game was mostly scenario based is just simply giving them serious problems.

They just released this announcement last week:

I don't know what level your character is OP, but it can't possibly get much easier to level your guy now than in any other game.

5th phase??? Only other way to level it any faster is to possibly 'bot' it or for Mythic to actually level it for you.

OP, I think if you are feeling that you are getting to 40 too slowly, you should just balance the amount of time you do ORvR. The game does not change much when you hit level cap. You will basically be grinding renown through ORvR and scenarios, you just won't be worried about experience. Same things most people do in earlier tiers.

For me, when I hit level 31, I took a break from scenarios and just quested in all three T4 pairings and was 40 in no time. I found it faster than scenarios as most quests are close to quest giver and most give about 10k experience. You can finish them very quickly. I did them all solo and they are not difficult.

Mythic has been making game as easy as possible for players and I never thought it was much of a level grind anyway.

thats if you are solo killing anyone not killing while in a warband

the xp that they promised is not there.  i was able to get more xp doing quest and doing mobs on my on in teir 3 yeasterday  then i would have if i would of been in a warband

and my lvl is 19 bg

also on a side note id like to mention in terms of xp and such

i can take a charecter in daoc from level 1 and get them to lvl 20 in about a day.

now dose that mean im super good and super awesome ?

no.. it just means i can easily find spots to grind for thoese lvls

in warhammer since i've played my bg it would be now week 2 my dude is finally getting close to lvl 20

it looks like im going to need to go to teir 3 just to get decent xp now

and in question have i done a lot of orvr ? lets just say this , on ungrim my bg has the entire obliterator set

he has his leet spear ,sword,sheild, and armor parts like helmet ,cape, shoulders, and belt .

his renown is = to that of his lvl which is lvl 19 , and now the only thing im currently doign with him is trying to find more tome tactic unlocks  ,  so maybe i play at a diffrent speed then everyone and  i might be complaing about how slow the xp is in orvr but im just stating the facts.

orvr to me only offered inf and renown,  the xp is not there,

so if you guys want to lvl up fast, id suggest you all to do more quest and kill mobs instead of players.

as for the scenarios, they do offer xp,, they were designed for it,  and renown also.
