Lol, well, this isn't an informative post, more of an inquirie.

Well, let me tell you how I reached this conclusion. I was recently linked to a certain site, that is like a carton of milk with holes in it, (:P), and read up on some of the stuff that we shouldn't know about, and noticed quite a few people mentioning that they were banned from a certain games closed beta, but not indefinately, but only until 1/17/2009, for putting said holes into that milk carton. Which led me to wonder, why would they not just ban them indefinately, the only conceivable reason to let them be unbanned for the 17th would be if....
That is when they are opening the closed beta, into the open beta....

Or at least thats what I am led to believe, assuming that those reports are factual.

See you all on the 17th :)

I come from the future.  The open beta started, or I should say will start, on the 22nd. 

assuming all your facts are correct, this theory actually looks logical and convincing and it just happens to fall on a saturday.

That actually doesn't sound as silly as it seems.

For all we know the game could be delayed and a one month open beta commence on the 22nd.

The comments where that was posted (Iimage hosting site is just that, a hosting site) I cant link it since that is against the TOC...

But belive me, that image is a hoax

this guy didn't actually brake NDA, he just copied leaked info off that site and pasted it into DF forums and so got banned for a bit.

Even so, why would they risk only temporarily banning him, they would probably want to make an example of him, or at the very least prevent him from future possible leaks, and I think they did, by removing him from all closed beta activities.

All I am saying, is that temp banning people for 2 days is non sense, unless thats all they need to be banned for.

Id say payed open beta starts the 22nd

Or they just had a temporary ban that ends the 17th. You may have a clue anyway.

And please, next time make a title like: "We may have the Open Beta Jan 17th" or "Leaked information points to open Beta 17th" or something like that, a lot of people will spit their hearts seeing this title.

he does not need proof, it was a simple speculation/theory. he gave facts explaining his hypothesis.

maybe you should look u pthe words "theory" and "hypothesis"

in Quantum Mechanics there is a theory that is accepted by almost all the scientific world "string theory" though there is no actual proof of the existence of strings.  So i would suggest YOU shut the hell up and read more carefully the threads before you post, you might avoid sounding like a dumbass yourself.

John Titor mentioned something about a virtually unknown company that finally revealed something revolutionary and advanced on the 17th of 2009 that became a huge world wide success that quickly dominated the internet for decades with its advanced revolutionary technology.
 

The person you are talking about was not banned from closed beta nor was he in closed beta.  He was banned from the regular darkfall forums until the 17th for copy/pasting beta leaks on the regular forums at forums.darkfallonline.com.  As "Ryun" says in a second comment a bit further down:

"thats the msg I got after I posted this on the forums :) lol."

And a two day ban seems reasonable for a first infraction.
