I'm currently a level 71 (1 bar from 72) Sarnak Brigand, and I am getting close to finishing Fens of Nathsar. I looked on EQ2Wikia and saw I have only 3 zones left of solo content after I finish Nathsar. This worries me. I am completely solo in EQ2, no dungeons or anything, so I am worried that on my trek to 80 I will run out of quests and be forced to do dungeons and such in order to hit the cap. Any 80's out there who can tell me if my worries are justified? Thanks.

I did not finish all my Kunark quests before I made 80

I've done the solo to 80 journey a fair few times. You won't run out of content

Sounds like you started ROK solo quests early (maybe around 68ish?) since your almost done with Fens at 71.  when i did Kylong plains at 70 it got me to 72 easily.

I would honestly say yes you will run out of solo quests before hitting 80. get over your fear group up and get that xp trust me people wont bite and if they do screw em and join another group.

I guess I will never ever understand why people are so anit grouping ... i understand time restrictions but to just not even try to group ever? its down right stupid.

So I'll have to leave Kunark to get 80?

^ It's largely because I'm not on long enough to complete a full dungeon. The only times I have grouped so far was to share a quest area so there wasn't crowding. I'm not truly afraid, it is just because of my schedule and because it seems to take to long to form a group for things.

But it sounds like my fear is true that I can't solo to 80...

not through ROK you wont be ...

you don't have a half hour/hour to spend in game? thats what most of the ROK instance zones take. Hell i could clear crypt of agony (COA) on my non fabled tank in about 20-25 minutes.

Only half an hour or so? Yeah, I can do that. What are the names of the casual instances for people around my level (now 72)? I'm on the Crushbone server.

I wouldnt go to the moors till i was 80 if i where you,but hey i only saw it in beta and they may have lessened the mobs a touch since then..but no you  wont run out of solo stuff to do on the way to 80

should be able to get a group for COA(crypt of agony), if you have TSO most of the dungeons scale now so many of them are accessible.

however once you finish all the solo quests you should be around 77 (if you don't do the TSO quests) and at 77 you should be able to run all the instances ... only one i would stay away from is Chelsith that dungeon unless you have a suicidal group will take forever no matter what as there is so much crap to clear.

Could I get from 77 to 80 from the Moors?

you are fine soloing only in Kunark to get to 80 -- regardless of being almost done with Fens now

there are plenty of  repeatable quests in Kunzar Jungle

I forget but you may need to be 74 before you can even quest in the Jungle

different quests require a minimum level requirement

How many other ones have told you that you won't run out of solo content? Why ignore them?

XApotheosisX, please don't go around telling people something that just isn't true. If thats the case, then you are ignoring quests along the way.

   And dont worry by the time you run thru the available content ,SOE will have new content avaible on there new handy dandy RMT for you to buy and enjoy....

Kunzar Jungle and Jarsath Wastes are both huge zones with LOADS of quests. I had many quests left in JW when I hit 80 (approximately 1/2 of the zone).

Agreed, while I did some grouping along the way, I don't see a problem getting to 80 with just the solo quests in KJ and JW. Those quests will get you more xp in the same time running the group instances would and if you do some of the repeatable quests to the point of getting ally faction you are all set. Also be sure to grab city writs for those zones, they often have you killing the same things that other quests have you killing so you can get a little bump from them as well.

edit to add: Also the Moors solo quests are very doable at 77+

how many times have you done the ROK solo quest lines? as someone who said he would run out of quests as well I have to question YOUR experience level. because with the original poster saying he is almost done with Fens of Nathsar the second zone already and not 72 yet WITHOUT TSO he WILL run out of solo content.

Repeatable quests unless recently changed DONT give quest exp again they give faction. there is only a few (jarsath wastes hunters for one) that are repeatable and give xp.

I have done the ROK solo quest grind now 8 times (3 for my characters 3 times helping my wife and 2 helping her sister). And Yes Apotheosis is right he will run out of solo quests in ROK before hitting 80.

because he may have been too low level to get ALL the quests that Kylong/Fens had to offer

depends on when he started it as well ... I started ROK on my swash at 68 and dont think i got to 73 till KJ.

could be a combination of both LOL if i could log in I could tell you how many complete quests i have for the two zones ... would give the OP a better gauge to see if he missed any quests.

Your biggest problem will be your level.  The jungle is going to be pretty hard I think to solo at 71.  I think most of the quest there start at 74 and go up.  There might be a few that are lower.

What you might do is head to bonemire and the skys zones and pick up some quest there to try to bump up a couple levels or if you do the ones in the jungle you will maybe want a partner...

I found that there are tons of quests in the jungle.  I hit 80 before I even finished the jungle...  But I did every quest in kylong and fens which I started around 69 or so but I also was working through the sky quests.  There are probably quests in lopping plains and bonemire you could do.  I'm assuming you skipped over some of these areas and jumped into kunark early?  

Another thing is that not all quests are available at 71.  I think when you hit 72 you will see new quests in the fens...
