There has been no proof that the game will be released on the 22nd. Again just more words. At this point I will believe it is released once people can DL the client and attempt to log in with some people actually getting in. Plain and simple, so actually your just speculating too granted its based on a statement, but havnt we heard it was going to be released before like in 08? I am sure you have heard the saying "dont count your chickens before they hatch" well it should be applied here with DF.

no actulyl it is going to release on the 22nd unless something major goes wrong . mozi and that otehr guy just ask tasos in person thursday this so yea...

If you read carefully not only does this game have huge potential as you have already noticed, it also has big and massive amounts of potential as well.

no actulyl it is going to release on the 22nd unless something major goes wrong 

"Unless something majorly goes wrong"  like I said I will believe it will be out once ppl can log in and play thats it. period. Words from adventurine and Tasos are about as good as a common rock.  Again I am not saying it wont be released on the 22nd, but I have to see it out to believe it.

If and I say if Avi released the game in a very bad shape they will end up a lot worse than AoC and WAR. In that case it is a lot better to postpone the game until it is good enough. The last 5 years shows us that half done games will flop.

The reason that Wow have loads of players and EQ2 so few isn't that Wow is a lot better, it is that they released at the same time but EQ2 was released in a very bad shape. Same thing with Vanguard, AoC and WAR, if they had waited all of them would have a lot more subs. Releasing too early is just peeing on your own foot.

Do you have any source for this or is this just guessing?

hes guessing meele sounds and animations re the only really bad things ui is a bit clunky but not nessercly bad

What server company are they using. I know they have a deal with GNi based in CA, but don't they have a company in Germany (if so what the name of it). Has it been uploaded to the servers yet ?

The game has huge potential, if you get bored of fighting goblins or other players you can always do a quest to kill some more goblins or just relax and do some resource harvesting and crafting that's not basic or generic at all.

Remember games got massive potential so lets support Aventurine and give them the time to finish the game and turn on all the features after launch.

So far you have had how many correct predicitions........... out of the many you have made so far....... a whole 0 has come to pass? Wait, wait, you did get one right I think, yes you didn't think they were going to hit the 2008 launch. So out of oh lets be a bit open minded and say you have only made 30 or so predicitions about DarkFall, so far you got 1 right Good Job!

I love how so many people continue to just relentlessly hate on this game. I know i'm going to play it for a few months whether its as amazing as I hope or it sucks horribly just to give them enough time to issue some patches and fix their bugs. Theres no need to be a troll and make a large sarcastic post, just let the game launch and if your right about it sucking then big deal. All i'm going to do is hope for the best and if it blows oh well, i'm a buffalo bills fan im used to disappointment.

I assume that they are using GNi's Frankfurt datacentre.  They are worldwide.
