ok let me put this easy to freaking be understood. the first mmo ever made (wht ever tht is) IS THE ORGINAL OF ALL MMOS. so pasicly ALL mmos are just a developed version of it.

and i actualy liked some of these games until i saw how bad some of the community are.  (espicaly wow's) ALL WHT THEY DO IS RUIN EVERYTHING. when ever i try to look for games, i look at the comments to see wht do ppl think of it. BUT instead I FIND A MIllion ppl says "oh its a copy of "tht" so its stupid".

i cant even see 1 comment about the game through all thos flames and stupid advertising. and if i try to speak up for myself i just get flamed. so i dont care wht ppl say about me, but seiously if i ever see another thread or comment like tht again on some new games or wht ever. I SWEAR I WILL CURSE THEM OUT. even if it meant me getting band.

It is true what you say,

but at the same time I would'nt say a game like, lets say Ryzom or SWG-PreCU, is a "copy" of WoW or EQ2 or something.

It is true that they are all from a large perspective, just copies of the first mmo, but at the same time they do have their small little differences that might set them apart.

For the most part I agree that copy threads are annoying as hell though, at least go into more depth imo :P

Compare:  guildwars, astroempires, Everquest 2, Age of Conan, EvE, Wurmonline, Second Life, Runescape, City of Heros, Lineage II, and Lusternia.

Two of those don't qualify as eligable for listing by this sites standards then another two would be argueable by someone looking for target practice.    But all in all clones I think not quite a bit.

If you say those games are copies of each other I'd say you're trying really hard to call stuff clones.   There are a lot more differance in gameplay for MMOs than there is for other genres...   The only reason we see people complaining so rampantly is because for some insane reason people think:   A) this is the only genre I can play B) this genre should give me a purpose  C) look how easy it is to get in contact with people   D) when someone hates something they'll make sure everyone knows when they like it they're complaceant.

o.O lol i dont care wht ppl think of games as long as they dont post those threads or stupid comments on other games. beside every one has hes own game. but the more ppl say tht this game is a copy of .......

i just get pissed since i cant find a good coment about the game it self.

ex: runescape ya ppl say its better, BUT they defend the game not keep saying "oh this game is a clone of runescape" i admit the gameplay is not bad and the graphics sux. ( i hate the game anyway) and i love a game called Aion but i dont go around saying oh this game is a clone of aion and this game is a clone of aion too.

inclocusion wht im trying to say is, if ur gona compare games better have a better reason other than saying "oh tht game is a clone of my favortie game......" or just go to hell. "mostly directed to some of the annoying ppl who play wow"
