Agreed on both accounts. However, spellborn NV has a bigger fault. As I said in a previous post, they *AGREED* to have regional splits and regional IP bans. As a developer in a cutthroat market that amounts to an EPIC FAIL. |

Having a game coming out in parts of Europe but being blocked in the rest of the world kind of defeats the purpose of an MMO. Thanks but no thanks. |

Not enough co,ntent, not enough patches, a "crappy update", hope this game is not going to disappear in 3 months... A tutorial is NOT content of course... Took also months for Lotro and War ok ? All players I know (most of them lol) plays both Lotro/TCOS, WAR/TCOS etc. I don't expect a big success for this game. Not crappy, not a beta, nice, but not enough content and maybe No HL content... Not a crappy game, interesting ideas, nice and refreshing, really, works fine, but an unfinished game for sure. |

I'm no grammar paragon but you should work on improving yours. While I'm suspect that you might not be a native English speaker (and I appreciate your effort for trying), the poor grammar burries the message you're trying to convey.

This game has been released in Europe only so far, so your assumption that English is not ougarit's native language is probably correct correct. I thought it was very thoughtful that even though ougarit's English is limited they still came on and tried to explain the game to the best of their ability. Instead of appreciating their effort to try to convey a message to us Americans you had to criticize them for their lack of grammar skills. In one word - pathetic. I would kindly like to point out to you how bad your sentence structure is. While I'm suspect should have been written as While I suspect. Instead of putting a period after (and I appreciate your effort for trying) you put a comma, thus creating a run on sentence. Last but not least burries is spelled buries. WHILE I SUSPECT that English is your primary language, you do a lousy job at it. I suggest you do not go criticizing other peoples grammar when you cannot even get two out of three sentences correct. Go troll somewhere else.

Sorry for my language (really) and was tired. Forgot one last thing, important: TCOS base = 100% fanboys .Thats why I won 't subscribe one more month. Most of TCOS players are ancient Vanboys players. (played with them in Vg, I know them...) I suggest to try the game, but not to buy the box. Took a month then stopped (after 2 days) , and now I 'm playing Lotro. (Not enough content, not enough players, only fanboys.) For these players, everything is perfect in this game : it's not . Quests are bugged, and you' ll have to kill boars boars and boars again. Take EQ2, Lotro, Eve, War, Wow, GW, and try TCOS. You'll find players dreaming about a perfect sandbox game in a perfect virtual world. TCOS isn't a sandbox game, far from beeing perfect, it's unfinished. Imo EQ2 is a better game.
UNFINISHED. NOT ENOUGH CONTENT A TUTORIAL ISN'T AN UPDATE My english is bad but my thoughts are clear. Wait or try but don't expect too much from this "new" mmorpg. Payed 12euros then stopped the game 2 days after, and took subs to Lotro and War.

"Forgot one last thing, important: TCOS base = 100% fanboys ." Who is going to play a game that ISN'T?
"...Vanboys ..." Really? Thought we had turned a new leaf in 2009... That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming! |

Don't care if you buy 100 boxes of TCOS, I won't pay 12euro/ month for an unfinished and empty game. Even official forums are empty. eu-players.tcos.com/forum/forumdisplay.php Lost 12euros.

No need to apologize for you English, Toord was just being negative and did not have anything worthwhile to say. Since NA is not allowed to play on the EU servers I really appreciate any feedback I hear. I don't go out of my way to put people down when they are trying to help. |

With all due respect, you are being much more of a troll than I was. You critizised me because I used "I'm" instead of "I" and then I misspelled "burries." True enough, I got cought by *Muphry's* law; however, aside those two misspellings my sentence structure and my grammar was half-way decent and more importantly *understandable*. Ougarit's orignal post was pretty hard to comprehend due to unstructured grammar. Also, I never meant to chastise the guy and if you carefuly read my reply to him, you'll see that I posed it as a suggestion not as a reprimand. @Ougarit No apology was needed. I was simply pointing out that your grammar needed work (given that MMORPG.com is mostly written by Anglo speakers). And your message about the game came loud and clear (and I fully agree with, BTW). |

@toord yea i know i came at ya hard on that one. the point i was trying to make was 'those in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones' lol. Anyway, none of us are perfect at grammar, myself included, so let's get back to the topic, which is COSB. I personally don't like how they are blocking NA and EU from playing with each other. To me that kind of defeats the purpose of an MMO. I HAD installed the client to try it out but since I'm being blocked indefinitely from using it I deleted it from my PC last night. I won't even bother trying it now when the NA game releases. I'm not sure what their Dev's agenda is on this one, but if part of it is to alienate and frustrate potential customers, they sure are doing one hell of a good job. Imo if this trend continues the game won't make it through the year. |
