Is this game dead or is it going to launch without any info?? I remember that people are expecting the launch on 1/22 but here we are at 1/5 and there hasn't been any info about the NDA going down, or open beta? Is there any official info on this game coming out? Maybe add it to this thread so we have an easy place to check the latest status. Something has gotta happen soon.

Give Tasos a break.. you know those guys are operating on a very tight budget.. obviously they don't want to waste the bandwidth it would take to update their website. You know, updating a website requires a lot more bandwidth then say.. running a MMORPG. The only question now is if the devs finally admit DF was a sham on 1/22, or if they leave enough wiggle-room for the fanboys to still defend them. I mean, realistically, Tasos could have strung along the fanboys for another 5 years.. but as soon as he stated that 1/22 date, he painted himself in a corner. Tasos could say "oops, we meant 01/22/11" and I guarantee you many will still defend this game. Sadly, I believe some of the fans of this game has gone beyond the limitations of "fanboi." I never seen a game that had such a devoted following even after they get screwed year after year. It's more like a cult really and the only reason why they aren't dead yet is because Tasos hasn't fed ex any kool aid yet. |

Although some status updates would be nice to have for sure. But i don't expect too many Videos/SS's or something like that anymore until the launch actually comes around. Unless of course they drop the NDA at some point, then we have players from whom we can get info.
*shrug* It's just a few more weeks. Might as well distract ourselves with something else until the day comes around. |
