Looks like the bug's are gone,and client is stabile as never before.I'm running everything on max with no problems at all.The graphics are stunning.Infact the whole setting is amazing,whith the music,the "dark " athmosphere etc.

I been playing wow for 4 years...3,5 of them in an endgame raid guild,and i seen everything and been everywhere.

Also been above 2k  in every season in arena.Wow pvp is easymode.

Dont get me wrong,wow is a great game.But after ding 80 in wotlk,done naxx 25 and that stupid dragon(dont remember name) too many times already,I know i'm done with the game.It's exactly the same shit over again,but this time Blizz made it easymode.The challenge is gone,and wow is more boring then ever.I cancelled my account for good this time.

AoC is a whole other story.I find it challenging and fun.Ofc i havent seen any endgame yet,but the pvp is not esymode....and i love it.

I think the reason why so many are talking shit about the pvp system in AoC,is cause it's different.It takes time to master.In other words they fail,and blame the game.

As for the pve,i havent much experience yet.But as for the little i seen,I love that too.It's tottaly different from wow and so far much more fun.Just cause it's different,doesnt meen it's bad.Ofc there are things that can improve,and it will.Theese things take time,like in any other game.

I know it's a lack of endgame pve atm,but that was also the situation for wow  7 months after launch.Infact AoC have more content then wow had 7 months after launch.And the ppl who played wow in start,know how much the game changed for the better the first 2 years or so.This will ofc happend in AoC also.

Out of interest what character are you playing?  I started with PoM, bit bored with spells only, moved to BS and really enjoyed playing that (79) now, but now moved to Assassin and I have to say its freaking awesome!  So much DPS but so little healing ability, really makes you improve your combat because there are no excuses for sloppiness.  Hardcore fatalities as well.  

I actually thought the PvP was average until I actually learnt how to fight properly. Now its really enjoyable and against a good opponent it really is incredible. 

To answer question around end game content.

They are bringing in another level 80 dungeon for solo which allows you to enter a new level 80 dungeon for group.   Plus resource wars will begin as they bring in resource specifically for Keeps and you drop resource if killed in PvP.

Agree with OP, i loved wow at relese i played on Burning legion (EU), and i had a great time playing with 4 of my irl friends.

MC was really cool, but after some time it got boring to play 5-7hours every MC raid. ( and how many times did i do UBRS, hah sick  )

But i think that WOW was great fun at release, and it got better over time, but with burning crusade it feelt like it was going downhill.

Anyway im happy you like AOC and that you are having alot of fun

Well, I don't have the same WOW background but I do so agree on your comments on no bugs and stability of AoC. I Started back in Sep and the game was even great then. Happy to see that people finally start to realize what kind of a jewel AoC really is. Whar server are you on?

when i played i was a conquerer and they sucked cos they had absolutely no dps

the game was really buggy which is probably fixed mostly now

and i just found the game very bland there was no bright exciting scenery and everybodies characters were running round in the same gear i just didnt enjoy it

Well well well, what do you know? The roller coaster of "ZOMG I QUIT" or "THIS GAME IS JESUS" posts that follow an MMO launch is over now, and the game has steadily improved (has it? Sounds like it, but I still think Funcom is incompetant).

 I played my ToS from 60-65,then deleted it.Wanted to play from start  again.

I made no less then 4  chars.

1 of each archetype. ToS,Guardian,Barb and Necro. Will play them all to 20,then decide.

 Taking my time,cause this game is too good to rush.

Ye,bugs are fixed.

Nothing new about everyone running around in the same gear.Been like that in every game i ever played.Wow more then any.

But i really like the armor looks in AoC.It's realistic,and i think thats a good thing.

Nothing new about everyone running around in the same gear.Been like that in every game i ever played.Wow more then any.

The only people that think things look stupid are the ones that did not come up with the idea or make it in the first place.  like most Mods,  they just rearrange what they were given.  Like the Old saying  "I could have done better". I think more and more players will get back to AoC.Now that the hype around war and wotlk is over.

And yes it is a jewel.The game deserves to be a sucsess.Dont really matter what ppl think of FC,the truth is they made a game for the future.If they continue with improvement like they have,I can easy see AoC having 1 mill + players in a year or so.

Also ppl starting to get better computers,that also helps.AoC need to be played on max settings to get the most of it.

There is still that annoying bug which sometimes change the color of your hair and the marks on your face when you change zone (doesn't happen often, still hasn't been fixed)

Itemisation is still crap, at least the green items, there are still many items wrong calibrated.
Sometimes items 10 levels lower are way better than the higher levels, they need to work on that.
Also the Anti-Aliasing get resettet from time to time, even if I force my graphic card to use AA in all games, with AoC doesn't work.

But I did approach my second stint in AoC with less expectations, and I am enjoining it more so far, it will keep me busy until DF or Aion comes out.
Also I didn't really expected those bugs to be fixed, I was counting in more content at high levels and for that I have to wait until I get there to verify if something changed.

I always said AoC wasn't that bad is the lack of content and silly bugs which ruined the game, but slowly I believe Funcom will fix it and the game will become enjoyable.

anyone kno if they fixed the HoX they was just buggy as hell, mainly graphics bugs like going bald after reverting back to human from demon. had to equip unequip the helm to fix it atleats till you transformed again.

I would try it out with two conditions:

1) DX10 would have to be active and working properly.

2) A trial period to actually see if things are as people say.

Until then, it's still a work in progress and I can wait.

If you really really nitpicky I suppose it would be a problem, but sometimes I like my hair blonde and my beard red =P

would it be possibe to play this on a, AMD 3000+  with 2BG ram.  and a ATI x1650 pro  Vid 256. ?

 I played it on a Semprom 3100 2GB with a GeForce 6600. Pretty close to your system. Just don't expect screenshot quality visuals.
