The Unreal engine, CryEngine (more 2 than 1). Source is a pretty nifty engine too. ____________________________ "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

OOO I like the tiny 2D frame work that I'm writing. But I'd have to agree with the person above me Games beat out engines. |

I bet they do. Take away the the engines and see how many of those games you got left ;) ____________________________ "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

It's ofcourse meant as I don't care what the game is written in or how it is. As long as it works. Ofcourse I realize what an engine does, how it works, and how it's designed. |

A weapon doesn’t make a Warrior Legendary, Is the warrior who makes the weapon. |

Its really quite interesting plus it allows for streaming patches while you play and updating content without bringing the server down. |

Engines are not meant to be played, they're tools of creation. They're the paintbrush and canvas an artist uses to make a painting. That said, MetaPlace (if you want to count it as an engine) is really quite awesome. Flash has a lot going for it too, www.instantaction.com has shown a lot of amazing stuff that Flash can really do. Not long until we see a Flash based MMORPG I bet. And It'll be better than Runescape... I hope :P ____________________________ "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |
