Good Call.. But it's posted.. HERE on this FORUM where this POST is. So.. ehh.. Yeah, I knew what you meant... just had to point out that pretty much every site... EXCEPT their own OFFICIAL site has the release date.
The ardent supporters spun that detail like it wasn't a big deal a few days after the date was announced... but now even they aren't sure why it has taken so long. And no matter how you try and spin it: When you don't have the Release date for your own game on your OFFICIAL web-site with only 3 weeks left before Release, and almost a month since it's been announced.... THAT is bad.
Will it ultimately impact how the game plays? Nope. Will it make the difference between DarkFall being a success or failure? Probably not. IT does speak to the professionalism of the company and the people behind it though. IT does speak to how well they are able to handle details. For me, they get failing marks in that area.
(And before someone says it... THE DEVS DO NOT UPDATE THE WEB-SITE... so it's not taking time away from the game to do it. TASOS just hasn't hired, or asked someone to do it yet... for whatever reason). |
