With the amount of Hype this game does I have, I can only put my figers on a couple things. 1) Character Customization. Supposedly you can make a character look like anything, with an Asain tinge of course. 2) Advance AI where Mobs act more like real people which makes Tank and Spank method of doing PvE impossible of extremely diffcult. 3) A PvE centric game that allows people to do FFA PvP on their terms. Not really new, runescape had a similar system at one point, but its refeshing for the Hardcore PvEr, but casual PvPer. 4) And Supposedly the game has an RvR element, but one that is also affected by PvE. If its as shallow (although still cool) as FFXI then i'm , but if its more advance by offering new quest, conquest into the enemy's territory, buffs, armor, and different raids ect then its refershing. other than that, nothing really comes out as new

I was fighting a mob today and it spun me around and stunned me, then it crit me while my back was too it. These mobs can do crazy sh*t at times. Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |

Don't forget the Balaur, its one innovation people seem to not know about, or forget to mention. They are a third faction that is completely NPC and controlled by the Devs/GM's to show up at Castle sieges, Rift PvP's, Raid bosses, etc...And they will help stabilize the server balance by helping different sides, or attacking both for a nice 1v1v1. |

All game companies should do many things but 3 playable factions, I think not. Your just thinning your ranks by doing that. Two is just fine. I antecipate this game because so far, both pvp and pve sounds good in theory, ofc theory is still a theory until they release the game and we see exactly whats there and whats not...hopefully it doesnt go like RF online or similar, all hype and no game |

I can't wait for this game - I'm so tired of WoW /sigh I need a new game to become obsessed with. Everything I've seen so far has made me really want to try Aion - I was hesitant after hearing about the hero class on PvP but now it kinda makes sense - so I still wanna try this game. Graphics that I've seen = awesome, storyline = great, etc. So I'll try it out when we finally are able to buy it - I think most anticipate it because they're ready for something new and different from the WoW mold.

The game looks very crisp, and combat looks fluid and enjoyable... But in the end, it suffers from a lot of stupid design choices, like the PVP heirarchy. |

In theory it won't become just another equipment grindfest like WoW fell into after it abandoned the ranking system...pvp was more interesting before that when it still had rankings, from whats been told around Aion seems to have picked something similar to that ranking system thus I have great expectations for it, hopefully the pve and economy/craft system can keep up to par or at least not be boringly shallow like WAR...or that they slack out on high end material...one can only hope |
