There's a lot of talk in the Darkfall forum that this game - out in Jan 2009 - seems to have graphics optimised for FPS and are therefore not as rich or as detailed as other 'next generation' MMOs. Whether this is true or not, please could you list which MMO - either current or just over the horizon - you think has the best graphics? And, of available, either a screenshot or two or else a link? Thanks. |

Artistically, EVE
WoW does not fall under artistic because its just rehashed art design they stole from Warhammer. I'm a fan of cell shading, loved it in Zelda : Wind Waker, but WoW cartoon style is just horrible to look at.

AoC, I don't have a divX10 screenshots from the test server yet but here is one in DX9:
Sunrise over Tortage, still havn't seen any other game that can top this even though they surely will come. |

Well from a technical standpoint AoC, Vanguard and Eve have very detailed graphics, but they lack style and are not that interesting to me. So I say WoW has the best graphics, they have the most style and personality. |

by far, Age of Conan has the best graphics. and just over the horizon is DX10 AoC, which graphics are freakin insane! If you haven't seen a video on the DX10 version you should watch them. Easily 2x as good as second place, whichever that might be.

If you're talking about game(s) that are currently out, i'd say Age of Conan, future games would have to be Aion and Soul & Blade
