All betas I've been in put the hi res stuff in later in beta so is this final graphics? If so yeah looks like a million other F2P games. ESPECIALLY if you have a 280 GTX and are running it on anywhere near high graphics."

The textures aren't at the level of AoC, but the performance and lighting are 100 times better.

We really have to wait until it comes state side and we can see it ourselves. We have no idea what his graphic lvls are set at.

Short answer: No.  The art style is the same but the quality isn't. Most F2P games arrive in the west a few years later then it first launched so they are already outdated by the time english folk get to play.. O.o

I play AoC a bit again, and yes the graphics are great, are they better? Not really, they are more demanding, but Aion's textures look positively delicious. If you look at the fauna in AoC or Dreamfall, it's not all that great. So while Aion's models are less intensive on your system the combination of awesome texturing and lighting effects is really what makes the difference.

It really does bother me I showed him more photos that looked better and he still keeps talking about how it looks like a f2p game

What I seen of Aion looks nice, there are a few details that I would expect to be in that arn't like bowstrings but no game is perfect.

do you guys know how to mirror dual monitors in XP? Everytime I turn extend off the other screen just blacks out.

I really hate those ‘Waiting for’ signatures. We are waiting for people like you to put some effort into the community of your current game, you lazy gits! :)

We know Aions graphics are great, we know there are going to be those who say they are not. Except that and move on.

I really think people should just wait for release. The graphics in Aion are the absolute least of my worries as the official screenshots are beautiful. That's the quality I expect at release.

Start the game in window mode and sterch it between both monitors.
