As for the topic, and this is my opinion: Performance is MUCH worse than say patch 1.04. It went from good, to playable, to barely playable (1.06). I hope it starts getting better in 1.1. Lag, CTDs, stuttering etc. are still there. I'm not the only one who's getting worse performance than before, you can check any forums.

However everything else is getting better, from RvR population, to population balance, out of sync animations, loot, bugs and more stuff.

So while I was enjoying the game, the degrading performance from patch to patch is starting to get on my nerves and if it doesn't get better in 1.1, I'll probably cancel until performance is good again.

So to answer your question, patches are fixing everything except performance (on my side at least).

 

Not sure why you're having problems.  Mine runs great. Better than it did when it first came out.

I have no idea either. But I do know that lots of players on my server (EU) feel the same. Some have better performance, the others not so (worse, me included).

Yours runs great? Gratz, hope it stays that way.

As far as for me and my $15 a month is concerned, WAR did kill wow.  Cant speak for anyone else and wouldnt want to anyways, but ya, ask Blizz when the last time they saw my hard earned money.
 

War did not turn out what everyone hoped and thought ti would be... the next big thign after WOW. Supposed to be mainstream but not only failed to capture most pvpers hearts but even most carebears.

Servers are always closing and populations dropping and only fanbois cling on with desperate hopes.

In other words stick a fork in it... its done

If you mean another 11million subscribers game then no thanks as this game would cater to every one and they're grandma like WoW. The fact it gets that many subscribers is because it runs on all pcs and is extremely easy so that it caters to everyone (and they're still making it EASIER). WoW is a smart game. A good one? Let's just say everything's relative!

As a matter of fact very few people expected WAR to kill WoW lol. Even Mythic themselves said that they're shooting for 2nd place.

Rofl, relatively yes. If you just take the forum populations however, then no, the WAR forums were filled with people calling this a WoW killer etc. :)

Meh same with AoC, Vanguard, Tabula Rasa, LOTRO... fanbois saying things like that is normal.. But I doubt anyone else would believe it. Most people know that ain't happening right?
