No it hasn't. Don't bother with this bad game if you have any sense of value for your money and time. { Mod Edit } |

It's doing okay, but I didnt resub simply because it's not my cup of tea. To slow and detached feeling for me. Hasnt really changed a whole lot other than bug fixes and a few additions to content (classes etc). If your desperate for something to play I say you should give it a shot and see how it turns out for you. Good luck. |

Finish out your free month and then move on. Once you hit Tier 4 you finally get hit with how badly they screwed the pooch with RvR and that in the end it boils down to another gear grinding WoW clone. Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts. EAT ME MMORPG.com! |

I don't really know to much info about tier 4 yet. The lag has been reduced alot in the game and Mythic has done alot of updating and patching on the game that has made it a little more fun. Just a little more not to much but on the rating system I'll give it a B - so far Mythic still has alot more to do with this game before it becomes a A in my book. |

Its good for what it is - RvR The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. When will developers (and players) become sane? Now go eat some grass like everyone else. |

The game, as everyone knows, is not solo-centric. So, unless you can find a group to join and another group to fight... it's not much fun. Scenario's are okay, but Open-RVR is where it's at. Kill. Kill again. Kill some more. Kill more after that. And keep... killing... and killing... and killllling until Renown Rank 80.

Jtrav1987, Keep to the topic and elaborate, or delete your post. See what I did there? His post is at least about the topic, your post is unsignificant and much worse off.
As for the topic, and this is my opinion: Performance is MUCH worse than say patch 1.04. It went from good, to playable, to barely playable (1.06). I hope it starts getting better in 1.1. Lag, CTDs, stuttering etc. are still there. I'm not the only one who's getting worse performance than before, you can check any forums. However everything else is getting better, from RvR population, to population balance, out of sync animations, loot, bugs and more stuff. So while I was enjoying the game, the degrading performance from patch to patch is starting to get on my nerves and if it doesn't get better in 1.1, I'll probably cancel until performance is good again. So to answer your question, patches are fixing everything except performance (on my side at least). |

Probably depends on who you are reading. To read the fanbois the servers are full most of the time, Open RvR is "poppin" all over the place, the new characters (all two of them) are KILLER!, all the serious players are left only, the whiners are gone and everything is 'just fine'. Exhibit A:
While the other side is pretty much said its server population problems, has serious nerf issues and is too boring. Exhibit B:
Me? I found the game fair, that's it. I don't think it can get much better than that. For me, it'll never get beyond much more than a filling station in the desert on the road from Sante Fe to Los Angeles on Route 66. If you quit after two weeks in, I would bet you'd fit in more of the Exhibit B side. |

Its easy to get into, and easy to get out of. Nothing in the game that mythic can hang their hat on as far as original systems save for PQs. I like the game well enough to ignore some of the other titles coming and presently doing well. If a compelling offer comes down the road though I feel like I could leave WAR without missing it much. |

And that's why people who actually knew anything about the game kept repeating that Mythic had stated WAR was not trying to be a 'WoW-killer'. But here's yet ANOTHER link from back then for those who have forgotten http://www.akgame.com/news_display.html?pages_id=221 The problem was the gaming mags and online sites who loved to use the 'WoW-killer' term in their articles about Warhammer just to catch readers. To the OP - I'm sitll enjoying WAR more than any other MMORPG out there but this game won't appeal to every kind of player (Crafters, those longing for sandbox game where you can endcap playing a diplomat etc). I find the PvP combat fun and the PvE entertaining enough to fill in the rest of the time. My advice is FIND A GUILD, even a small one. You get some real benefits from it like Recall Scrolls and guild merchants. If WAR isn't your cup of tea, at least there are starting to be more options about there for MMORPG players. You have a better chance now compared to any time in the past of finding a game you can enjoy. |

Not sure why you're having problems. Mine runs great. Better than it did when it first came out. |
