SW:ToR has pretty much determined which version of Star Wars SOE will be concerning themselves with. And it ain't SWG. Why add stuff into Galaxies when they need TCG to have ANY form of Star Wars left? |

A tiger is a tiger, don't complain when it bites your arm off if you stick it in it's cage. SOE is SOE, don't complain when they rob you if you do business with them. Proving once again that no matter how low you set the bar for SOE, they will manage to come in below it. And this also proves: Listen to us pissed off former players when we warn you of things. Myself and others were saying weeks ago that this was EXACTLY what SOE would do with the TCG. No way in hell all THAT stuff was done by SOE Denver and not using SOE Austin. No way. Oh, and Obraik, no way all that was done WHEN TCG was made and not afterwards, that dog won't hunt, it took effort, and a LOT of effort from art and from Devs who had to have time taken from the live game. Enjoy your expansion. Suckers.

But its like Stockholme Syndrome with the NGE players . If this is their sad dose of SOE reality, I say welcome to the real world and what took you so long.

They couldn't do it even if they wanted to. For one thing, there isn't anyone left at SOE who has ANY idea how the old game worked who has the talent to figure it out. Most of the people who DO have this expertise now work for Bioware or is a "duck" Dev. Secondly, the old game isn't compatible with the new RMT system, uh, I mean "card game" and thus will deprive $0E of ca$h. Plus, the old game had a completely PLAYER crafted economy, which would out compete RMT loot.
