Athens, Greece – December 5th, 2008 - Audio Visual Enterprises SA and Aventurine SA in a joint statement today announced that their highly anticipated MMORPG title Darkfall Online will launch across Europe on January 22nd, 2009. North American players are also welcome to participate in the European launch of Darkfall which will precede a North American launch.

With the quality of the Trolls and Fanbois of DF, I am sure it will give us more entertainment for at least a couple of months after launch. I am not worried about my Forum Amusement...yet.

taking a developer at their word when there is  >1hour of video + >650 screenshots of the actual game plus a contracted distributor and datacentre host is *normal* and *reasonable*.

adhering to the idea that a developer is shady and deceitful because a couple of other games out of the thousands released each year were deceitful is unreasonable and paranoid -- much like the people who still think the moon landing was faked.
