Good luck to them. I doubt many customers will trust them after what happened last time - and it's a shame the full story isn't included here - but no doubt the loyal fanbase will return. |

Who in their right mind would play this boring turd of a game? This game was doomed the moment it went into beta. Just an utter waste of time. |

Well, when TR shuts its doors, at least this could fill the slot temporarily. |

Good to see a gamecompany not give up regardless previous issue's. Now I did play the game in beta but didn't FEEL the game, it did have some nice feature's that set it apart from the themepark type of mmo's we currently have, I am aware of the issues that surrounded the game, but does that mean that they did not learn from the past, only time wil tell. But I geuss the above posters have time machine's and can look into the future, other then that only thing I can think of why people post reply's like I see above me is that they for some reason might think that EVERY SINGLE GAME ever made MUST BE GOOD for them, else those above reply's just show pure ignorance that does NOT have a place in a community genre like MMORPG atleast in my opinion But hey I know I am in the minority and the behaviour in reply's above me is well accepted by the majority of posters these day's. And my reply probebly is not that accepted with HOW people these day's seem to look at games they dislike. I always wonder why people spend time at games or company's they dislike, all I can think of is they must be mighty bored..... On topic, might give the game another go and see what it's like. ------------------------------------------------------------ |

I played it a whiel during beta. Yes, it had issues. Yes, it was boring sometimes. Yes, graphics weren't best and so. But still.. i had more fun in it because people atleast tried to RP, like the classes for FDC recruits, or when guarding the mall.. The absence of levels and skills you need to raise was also a good point. While a completely fair world etc. is utopian, it was a step into the right directon. You can not judge one by his equipment or his level that gets displayed over his head or so when there is no "epic gear" or level 502. I would at least give it a try when they make an open beta or so. I doubt i will p2p, as i don't swim in money, and you can get the same fun and experience and stuff as every MMO gives you in a singleplayer game or in a "normal" multiplayer game with free mutiplayer, but if it will be similar to what it was back then, i would always choose FoM instead of WoW or LotrO. ----------------------------------------------------------- |

I loved this game.
Hated the people.
But we still had sex. |

Many of the old players have already stated that they will be comming back... |

Watching a game get another chance to fail hard is entertaining, to say the least. |

For the most part, the MMO sector needs more 'good' sci-fi games. FoM was fun, and I RP'd as much as I could, and beyond the glitches and sometimes lack-luster gameplay, it's a good experimental game that brings something different to a very much 'lacking' MMO selection. There really needs to be more MMO's that try to do something different. EVE and FoM really try to, from what I've seen, but there needs to be more. There's too many WoW clones out there these days, and far too many of them are purely your basic fantasy fan-fair. I know I sound jaded on the topic, but really.. honestly.. I haven't exactly found many unique MMO's out there. And I'm not just talking about unique as in 'looks' either. When I heard FoM went down, I was kinda sad because it was fun for the 5 days I tried it out, and everyone I played with was actually kinda cool. Hopefully now it can get a new set of legs to stand on and hopefully it'll be fixed up to better. Blind opitimism, maybe, but it is what it is. ~//JDZero//~ |

This game (before the whole sinking their own ship fiasco) was amazing, the best part of all of it was you got out it what you put in. People who don't like this game have one of two problems, they didn't give it a chance or they were hated by the community. |
