December 1st - Vet 30%

Bear in mind, other than Jully-August (where I mostly took a break from the game), I played actively 3-8 hours a day (and little to no AFKing)

At that rate, I will turn Expert (the current highest level) in March of 2010. Also bear in mind, for much of that I used a 10% exp increase book.

No, I think most of those are waiting for Darkfall

I dunno I think it's like any game some people level slower than others I started in July and I just leveled up my 4th and 5th experts this morning.  I do AFK a lot but that is because I work long hours so the AFK level feature works for me.  *shrug*

I've been playing since Nov 11. At the same time I've played; Shaiya, Godswar, 9dragons, WoW, Phoenix Dynasty Online, Arcanum (SP) and Diablo II.. and I just reached 40 this afternoon... There was a whole week or 2 I didnt even touch SotNW.. I've AFK'ed once for 1 and a half hour.

And I havent played extremely long hours either.. I would guess I have played around 30-40 +/- hours in total..

Maybe Im just a natural Talent :P hehe

The Frist team is always the hardest, i started at release in july 07 and i wasnt vet with frist team till october but now lvling alts i can get them to vet in about a week-week1/2. but u need to goto zones about 6-8 lvls above the chars lvl to get better xp if ur using the char to kill mobs need to be yellow orange or brown is 50% less xp.

If you had all the gear for lvling and wanted to spend 4mil on hp pots u can vet in under 4days some clannies have done it, but thats extreme grinding.

Man why do you continue to play this boring grind fest? Iv had doctor visits that are more enjoyable than SoTNW.

I got 1 family to Veteran and quit right after, I knew better if by veteran I was hating the game and bored out of my mind with the 1 and only thing to do (grind) then i prob was not going to like it more as it goes up....

Play Runes of Magic, or hell Even Requiem or Atlantica, all 3 of those games have a better cash shop and better game play. I really think the only real reason to play SoTNW is if you are a sucker for visuals and dont care about game play. Or if you work all the time and just want a game you can get some where without really playing it. There is nothing game play wise other than the AFK that SoTNW does that other Korean shit fest games don't do better.

I actually have given up, at least for a couple months. Playing Atlantica now, and LOTRO

In December, I made a special effort to try to level up more, and only got 11.5% (so up to 41%), but got burnt out in the process.

The trouble is, the game is meant for AFKing 24/7, especially in the cash shop area (Ancient Area). If you do that, you can hit Expert in a month, or if you solo, a week and half  or so.

Just 24/7 seems to do the trick for 3 characters in about 3 months (in Via or Bahamar, regular places, Via is where I spent Dec). But if you can only play 8 hours a day, it's 9 months. And only 5-6, it's well, a year or more.

Yeah man SoTNW is a pso game honestly.

Thats just what I can think of that is funner than SoTNW in about 1 min... Theres more out there. SoTNW is boring nothing but grinding. No variety I can't believe people still play it. There must be some really graphics oriented players on SoTNW.

Your level progression is a bit different from my own.  I started playing on Dec 5th.  I have 3 Vets at 50% into Vet (Level 105).  3 characters at level 100 waiting to be vetted.   Another group at 58/58/58, and another group at 51/51/51. 

hmmm....it all depends on how long you have been playing....i started playing 1 month after the game went F2P..2 years ago...i had the same problem you had....it took me 4 months to get my first veteran.....as the game went on and i became more experienced....you will find it comes easier to vet characters......i can now usually get someone to lvl 100 in 1 - 2 weeks....and depending on the character 1 week - 2 months to expert....i have a handful of experts now... another thing...what is good about this game...you can afk and still gain exp...so if your always busy...just go somewhere hit spacebar you will come back and you will have a few lvls.....people dont give the game a chance
