Because lots of people asked for it I made a new Poll so people could vote and discuss the game 2 months after the release. In this way you can see if the game is any better/worser after lots of patches and game changes....

Funny how the fanbois and naysayer both goes for the 1 and 10. If you know a little about ratings you always cut the 1 and the 10, considering only what is inbetween. In this exemple, 8 is the right number.
edit: Good score imo, reflect exactly what I think of the game.. even with its flaws. |

33 posters only makes 8 a valid score? Seriously, if any of you actually have a character in Tier4. Done some of the endgame dungeons, done any keep sieging..... ehh keep / BO farming on roulation and the horror that is called Fortress Sieging and thus experiencing all the zone / server crashing that takes place in Tier4. Then that score would have been a lot lower. Cheers |

Yeah in it's present state this game isn't any where near a 8. Maybe a 5 but thats pushing it. |

I can only give it a 6 right now, it have the potential for a 9 but Mythic will have to work really hard to get there. As someone said before, I can understand why people rate it 1 or 10 either, it is far from perfect or totaly unplayable. It have some really good features but they can use the lore better. And the combat feels a litle slow for me, maybe it is since I'm use to Guildwars PvP but I would like them to speed up the combat 20% or so. And while I like that they made the avatars to look a bit like minatures they could have better polygone count and used fog, lightning and shadows better. The art is quite good however, cept the elves. Animations could be better. And put in wood elves and skavens please, high elves look a bit too wimpy to make anyone happy. And I see why witchelves have to be female but most of the classes should not be sex specific.. |

I would give this game an 7.5-8 not only because I enjoy the game, but also because I respect Mythic and what they do for the MMORPG industry. The falws are what push the score back. But this game is not a failure. The only failure is people who take games way to seriously. They are not your lives, they are entertainment. If you do not enjoy it, move on. It's like going to a strip club only to find out its filled with fat chicks. Unless this suits your taste, you would just leave, wouldn't you? =) |

Agree so much. I left WAR very early just because of what is described here. What pissed me off the most though, was when I asked if other people had the same problems in various forums. I was trolled and flamed black in this forum by insane bois. Nobody were/are allowed to talk about these performance issues and the broken game functions. Worst thing, it's still going on in other forums, like Eurogamer. I can't comprehend why those hypocrits keep scaming people into beliving this "smoothest MMO launch ever bullshit". So I agree with your gradeing of this game. I could hardly play it, but thought it had potential. Anyways, just the fact that I could hardly play it makes it a 3 or 4 right away (and that is being generous). I gave it however a 2 as community (for resons described above) at least give a -2 on top of those 4. 2 is a generous score. |

I would rate it somewhere between 6.5 and 8. And ofc fix some pretty annoying bugs here and there. |

I gave it a ten, but mainly to hack off the trolls here who would be rating it a 1 :) I think 9 is right at the moment as they are pouring effort into stuff. I hope to see alot more improvement in the coming months; since they have been picking off things that have been on my annoyance list, I remain very positive about the growth of this game. |

the game itself is ok. i like how the scenarios works, with xp loot etc. i like the idea of PQ and how they work IF there was enough people in the game / less servers. i allways found it hard to deal with the PQ short after release caused by low server populaion on allmost every EU server. there were just not enough to get some social going, and that made me a bit sad. For the 1½ months i was playing it, but i was feeling i was playing a solo game in an empty world. enough said, they did a huge mistake by adding to many servers in the beginning. ill rate this game 6 |
