I am thinking of resubbing to war, i mean i got kinda bored of it but i only got to like lvl 21 lol. i have been hearing a lot about big RVR battles and thats what i wanted to get war for. but at the time there was only scenarios or like 5v5 rvr battles.

I'v also herd mythic is fixing  alot of bugs and stuff. which is good!!! so yea just gonna ask if any1 might come back to this game in mythic fixes most the bugs and there is a lot more rvr

 Fewer people are playing now.  You may want to wait until the new patch comes and see how it is received and how the population shakes out once they finally consolidate servers.

No, account closed. But unlike Aoc I didn't uninstall it. Hopefully mythic can pull this together and make an rvr game worth playing.

Yes but make sure you are on a good server first, other wise reroll on one.

My server was a ghost town 2 weeks after launch, i cant imagine what it is today or if i ever resub.   So no.

Closed, removed and will not be bothering again, this game is far too easy and sadly unispiring for me. I am now an MMO lost soul again and need a sandbox game.

will resub long enough to try out the new classes for a month and thats it - very disappointed in the game

thought about quitting once or twice, but since i have hit tier 4, I'm having a blast... Open RvR is picking up steadily, and every night theres something going on. Questing, PQs, Scenerio (s)...

Still looking for an answer to the constant Serpent's Passage problem, but I'll live with it for now...

I'm in for the long haul.  I've enjoyed the gameplay enough to keep me interested.  Few good points why i'm sticking around. 

(1) They will be adding cross-server scenario Q's

(2) The live events are great.  Always adds a spike in people online and in RVR areas.

(3) PVP (even if its limited at times, I can no longer go back to grinding traits or doing stupid quests in LOTRO i.e. feed 7 dwarves or gather 7 branches to make pickaxes) 

(4)LOTRO and WOW just came out with expansions, once people are done with those in a month, most will return. 

(5) They are still working out the kinks,  I have faith the game will continue to improve.  People complain , but PVP is the hardest part to get right in an MMO.  I give them credit for sticking to their guns. 

(6) I feel they will continue to consolidate servers.  Not really a bad thing because they had so many to begin with that it was inevitable. People complain about this, but they didnt want people to wait in a Q to enter a server. Just get everyone playing and then consolidate later.  Seems like the right thing to do to me.

I love the game and have a great time playing all the different classes (on both sides :)  Plus, the PVE aspects are enjoyable as well. 

where did you read there were be cross server q's for scenerio's?

i hope they don't, nor, with the the way zone control works do i think they could...

I lead a large guild on one of the most popular WAR realms.  We started our guild on day 1 of the head start and have been going strong ever since.  We have over 250 members and 15-25 online every night.  We have several new applicants to the guild every day.  The RvR action is non-stop.   If anything, I need a break.

If you want some serious RvR action and are willing to make a long term commitment to your character and your guild and want to be part of a strong fun community then please come play WAR with us.   If you are an ADHD, fotm (flavor of the month) mmo gamer, please stay away from WAR. We dont need you.  WoW is more your speed.

I honestly dont care what the mindless me-too rabble thinks of WAR. 

WAR is boring?  Thats laughable.

WAR is RvR only?  Pure ignorance.

Deserted realms?  Not my realm, we are growing almost too fast.

Declining game?  Not hardly.   The game is moving to fewer, higher population realms but is growing, not declining.

X-Realm scenarios?  I would cancel my sub.

Arena?  I would rather have my teeth drilled.

Do I sound like I am trying to sell WAR to you?  I hope not.  From what I have read in this thread, most of you would not like it.

Mythic, please, please do not give in to this mindless rabble and add X-server scenario queues.   That would obliterate the purpose of scenarios, ie. to contribute to the victory points in a given zone.

Please, before you advocate game-breaking changes, learn to play the game as it is.   This is not WoW, there is more to RvR than standing around waiting for BG or arena queues.

Server consolidation is well underway and if anything is moving too fast.

WAR is deficient in many ways... but glad you enjoy it.... easy mode for the win I guess.

They will not add cross-server scenarios. Don't spread lies.

Is it worth it to resub? absolutely, in my opinion. Only make sure you play on populated server.

I just feel attached to my character and loving it. There are also some interesting PvE dungeons if you don't feel like RvRing at some point. But if you don't like rvr, don't resub.

My 2 cents.

I will never give my credit card details to a company such as GOA so no subs from me.

If you are in EU, read this before giving your CC details away.

Even if GOA wasn't leading EU WAR, i wouldn't sub because game just feels like constant GW Random arena + TF2. In short, not ready for release.

I currently have 2 subs going, one for Warhammer, the other for WoW

It's not expensive to keep both but WotLK is really quite boring. I cancelled WoW after just buying the xpac and after levelling to 80 and exhausting most of the content, still got 2 and a half weeks on it.

Now doing a WAR sub on card monthly recurring

Warhammer is just a much more fun game, more challenges, more exclusive rewards and a higher skill requirement :)

If you really think that the population issues are related to these two expacs, I think you're quite misled.  WAR's population was in recession long before LK came around -- it has to do with the core design of the game.  It appeals to a core of people, clearly, so the game isn't going to die or anything like that.  But it's a niche game in appeal, while being a game that was intended to be a blockbuster (based on copies shipped to retailers and servers opened at release).  The idea that flocks of people will come storming back after they are done with LK is wishful thinking -- it basically never happens in MMORPGs.  WAR had its chance, and lost it in terms of being a mass appeal game to compare with WoW.  It will still be a success in its own right, but a much smaller game than it was intended to be, because Mythic underachieved with the design.
