why do you think this game is much more expensive than wow monthly fee? or any other p2p mmo. monthly is around 13$ but it only has around 300 playing timew limit per month... seriosly what makes this game so special? 1. IP is unknown 2. all UI interface is same like wow 3. nothing new in combat. its the same as wow+cabal skill graphics+perfect world aerial combat 4. graphic is nice=comparable to AOC So, tell me, why would i play this game over wow.war. or AOC and one more all of ncsoft game is not great..lineage 2? it suck

There's a time limit? 300 hours a month, that's around 10 hours a day. Tbh that's not a big limitation, might stop the 24/7 farmers though.

Probably a good thing that they are keeping you from playing MORE than 10 hours a day Don't you sleep, have a job, or have interest in anything else in life? -------------------------- |

this is from http://news.mmosite.com/content/2008-11-20/20081120005918847,1.shtml As we know, Aion will be released as a subscription-based game. But how much will it cost per month and how many types of cards will there be available? Finally, yesterday NCsoft announced that Aion will start commercial service from November 25th, 2008 and there will be four types of prepaid game cards for choosing. 1-month card: 19,800 won (approximately 13.7 USD*), 300 hours for 30 days 3-month card: 47,520 won (approximately 32.9 USD), 900 hours for 90 days 3-hour card: 3000 won, (approximately 2 USD) 30-hour card: 12,000 won ((approximately 8.3 USD) thats korean subscription fee as of the moment, how much would you think it will charge on NA/EU, they will likely follow this kind of subscription with TIME LIMIT!! oh my god. they are too confident to do this...will see. Lineage 2 was their most popular p2p mmo, and it suck balls |

Time limits are fucking ridiculous. Thanks OP, you just saved me time from looking into this POS. Oh well, I haven't played a single NCShit game I have liked anyways, and I don't expect this crapper to be any better. |

OP: Are you seriously playing or planning to play any MMORPG (or game for that matter) for 10 hours a day every single day without getting paid for it? -------------------------- |

Its an asian payment scheme... thats definitely different than ours. So chill folks. Until they announce the NA payment plan keep your damn pants on. |

Hmmm 10 hour a day...well to think about it i never played more than 10 hours a day i think. But the thing is, they made it with time limitation...why??? are they so confident enough that they make it more expensive than playing other mmo like wow/war/aoc? and also, they made some rediculous penalty which they adopt it from a f2p= loose EXP every death. just unbelievable |

Hint prices list "WON"
This has nothing to do with what is going to happen in North America and I can guarantee there will be a traditional subscription model used (ie 14.99 a month unlimited hours), not a time based one. Asia has some pretty bad problems with A) RMT thingies and B) MMO Addicts. And I mean REAL addicts. Or have you heard of someone in europe actually playing until they -died-? (Though admittedly, that one kid got delivered into a hospital after playing WoW too long <.< >.>).
Anyway, I am pretty sure those are the major reasons for that. And seriously....who plays 10 hours per day every day of a month? I mean...-really-? |

Originally posted by Archillez PLEASE read before you post. #1 13 a month is CHEAPER than every other MMO not sure exactly where your getting your pricing. #2 THIS IS THE ASIAN price scheme. It is NORMAL for there to be two price setups for different countries. |

There ARE MMORPG's out there in our market that cost less than ~ $14.99 a month. I hate to sound judgemental, but something is really wrong with your life if you are playing a game more than 10 hours a day every single day without getting paid for it or anything IMHO. Hell I think they should have those type of limits on all of our MMOs -------------------------- |

I highly doubt the same pricing scheme will be used in NA/EU. As far as the limit system stopping goldfarmers from playing 24/7, it just means the gold farmers will pay more per month than you do for more/higher time cards and will just pass the costs onto all the scumsucking cockroaches who buy gold. Which in turn will increase prices ingame for all you legit players trying to buy an item honestly ingame. |

If you play for 10 hours EVERY SINGLE DAY you have serious life management problems, no discussion there. This is ten whole hours every day. If you spend a sunday with your family you can already play for 11 hours and 12 minutes the following 6 days. And these timeframes are so ridiculously huge... You'll have to start at 8 am and could still play until 7 pm with one hour lunch. Remember, a regular work day lasts about 8 to 10 hours, 12 hours if you're doing shifts but then you get one day off. And you normally work 5 days a week...

Sounds to me like someone enjoys running a bot program 24/7. Time limits don't bother me one bit, Ill never hit those hours. Did you know in china, if you are underage you only get exp for playing for 3 hours a day, go over that amount and you get nothing, Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |
