I have been in the trial for about a week now.  I finally got Cruiser trained, but they are prohibitively expensive.  I'm tooling around in a Tristan, which looks like someone wearing one of those blow-up sumo suits.  It has got to be the goofiest looking frigate in the game. :)

My in game name is Salvotoris.. different spelling than here.   If anyone wants to hook me up it would be much appreciated.  I have already made the decision to subscribe.  Now I am just wondering whether or not I should waste the remaining 2 free weeks of my 21 day free trial and sub today or be patient and sub when it's over.  It's kind of a bummer that a lot of skills and ships are locked out to trial players. 

I'd wait the 2 weeks and get some of the "non-restricted" skills trained while you can.

Also.. Get to know the frigate before switching to the cruiser. A lot of newer players go for the cruiser ASAP, and then they crash and burn, because they basically havn't got the "hang" of the game yet. Cruisers are harder to "fly effectively" than many expect.

I could need some free cash also some help ingame wouldnt be so bad :)

I also started yesterday the 14 day trial.  The game is complicated so I am taking my time doing all the tutorials and such.  I did a very "newbie" mistake and I left my ship.  The funny thing is that I thought  I was done for.  The friendly players explained me how I could get back inside my ship.  That revitalized my energy and hope in the mmo community as a whole.  I am a casual player and eve might be the kind of game I am looking for.  If you could help with some currency like you offered that would be great.  If you cant that is fine, I am glad that someone was kind enough to help other players.

Got into Eve with the trial and I'm loving it for the complexity it has compared to other mmo's.

I can see myself playing this for years, but for the moment I'd like to join the group asking for a handout. I'm looking to buy a new mining vessel and can't seem to make ends meet with all the juicy droids and manufacture-skills I just have to get.

So if someone could be my personal saint and sponsor me, I'd be eternally greatful.

 The money I received helped me so much.  I died twice and felt frustration, but I invested the money in a Merlin ship, some weapons, shields etc, and I am enjoying the game.  My wife was surprised when I explained what happened ingame with my ship getting blown to bits.

Sorry friend. Just engaged in my first battle and some yes/no questions came up so I thought it was someone who was meaning to hurt me, so I instinctively clicked "no".

Thanks a million for the ISK, I got shot down a few hours after so the money came handy ;)
But it was a useful death since I've now begun to think ahead, which means that my next death won't affect me as much.
