Sorry, for pointing out false and misleading informations that could hurt some minor part of the community, not to mention the credibility of a precious fansite. If something is about Aion and its community, I take everything kinda personally... simply because I'm one of the fans too, and when there's a chance to avoid confusion, I'm trying my best to clear things up.

Well I have been involved in doing localization for a game and I just do not believe an organization like NCSoft won't at least be doing an extensive closed beta cycle for Aion localization. MMO's today are far more complicated than they used to be and players demand a polished product. I am sure NCSoft is very aware of that fact. So I will be quite skeptical of anyone claiming that there won't be one. |

It's pretty common knowledge that there won;t be a beta for Aion in NA/EU. Now normally, I don't get pissed off on forums but As for you Devil, I'm not mad about fake information, I'm pissed that you fucking copied hellrose's translation and put it off as being your stupid fansite's. WTF? I think me and most of the 15,000 members of Aionsource would be apalled and INSULTED by this offense. Do us a favor and stay away from any other forums about Aion because what you have done is totally UNACCEPTABLE.
It's almost 2010, and I am just not wiling to tolerate clunky graphics while being told that "gameplay is more important than graphics". That excuse won't wash with me any more. I expect my games to have both good graphics and good gameplay. |

Yeah, if I remember correctly I downloaded WoW from the original site, then upgraded to a p2p account after my free trial period was over. They started billing me only the monthly fee, the only thing I had to pay for were the expansion pack I missed which I think was only $30. So yeah, hopefuly this is how they do it. I never read where they said there will not be a NA CB or OB, that would make sence though because they have spent so much time on testing sofar. I really don't mind not having a beta here, everyone starts on the same pace, fine by me.
Yeah you're right for the Korean Open Beta, you don't have to buy the actual game to continue playing after the OB, just pay the monthly fee and you're good to go.
Sad thing is, seeing as there probably won't be an OB for EU/US, we will have to pay for the game q. q I love you. q. q |

There you can see the the complete article about this. www.goldsea.com/Air/Issues/Corea/corea.html.
Thank you. That was really interesting. (The link as well) So it is really "Corea". I will remember that. |

No, he's correct. They will be having a "sort of" beta, but it's not a beta like you are thinking. They announced that they would be doing beta preview events. From the sounds of it, it seems like it is remininscent of the Guild Wars preview events. http://www.aiononline.com/us/news/general_news/aion_exclusive_preview_signups.html |

Aion Launch - when ever.
Predicted closure date: 1 yr 4 months from launch give NCSofts current track record. Auto Assault 1+ year. Tabula Rasa 1 1/4 years. Your best bet for enjoying this game is that it never launch and just stays in beta for 4 years.

No I am not a TROLL I am just PO'ed that after promising to keep TR open just days after everyones accounts renewed they device to close the game. As far as lineage and the other NCSoft games go. Those are not new games. Given NCSofts CURRENT track record dont be surprised if you play the game for a year or less before they close this game as well. People who played TR are being given a free beta account for Aion. Thats a poor substitute for peoples time invested in TR.
