For those that had ALREADY desided to pay on montly basis (was an option in account) this has now been CHANGED. You will have recived a E-mail telling you about this changes. I thought Mythic was above this low tactics to get free money but.... obviously not... So go into your account and chancel subscription if you dont want to be charged automaticly forever - when you thought you were manually subing for the account on monthly basis. |

This is standard practice and tells you that when you enter your information. Its so lazy people dont have to go back to their website, reenter the information, and then resubscribe every 30 days. Granted it has the added benefit of getting revenue from people to lazy or forgetful to cancel... but it more or less balances out. |

haha not to my knowledge, all the games i played charge same time every month:P in fact i think majority of them in the small print tell you that they will charge and to cancel if you dont want to be hit:) |

The diffrence is that when you bought your last montly sub there was an option to buy it WITHOUT Automaticly subing every month. There was a SPECIAL button for that and those that think they will not be charged because of that WILL be charged now. That is in my opinion a VERY low blow from Mythic. |

You have no idea what you are talking about,if you went to cancel your account you were told you dont have to as you never had the auto renew enabled,now 3 or 4 days before player's account is going to end they have started to auto enable there accounts so they not only were lied too they are now getting there accounts changed without the player doing it for themselve's. I'm sure people who did buy just one more month thinking it would cancel appreciate your effort to warn them.... but you decided to put in this: That is in my opinion a VERY low blow from Mythic. which doesn't make you look too public service oriented. Mythic probably pulled that option because people were not making use of it... Perhaps it was there so that people could choose to go two months, rather than have to resubscribe/unsubscribe for the 1-3 months they wanted to try it out... Many people feel 1 month isn't enough time to "try" and MMO... The option itself doesn't sound like it was meant to be there longterm. Thank you for the Post, but if you want it to be a public service announcement, you will need to leave your feelings out of it. |

Im sorry that my opinion is that this is a low blow. Why do I think so ? Cause I clicked this SPECIAL otpion to NOT get automatic subbed again. I expected that to stand and I expect 1000s of ppl are expecting that. PPL that maybe have ALREADY quit the game or have mail from WAR set on junkmail. Yes - My opinion is clear - it has NOTHING to do what I think about the game. It has to do about my money and my choise that I already took in the account page about 1 month ago. I find that to be a disgrace from Mythic to do this. That will stand. |

and who asked you to get into this thread? i don't see you being invited by the OP specifically. and i agree, a warning is fine, BUT, at the same time, if they do NOT have access to their email, what makes you think they will have access to this website?
