I play because of the social experience, playing with friends, brothers and other people feels good. Tho many of todays games almost force you to go Solo. ______________________________ __________________________________

I am still thinking which one has more fun to me, mmorpg or single game, seems to me mmmorpg getting less and less fun to play anymore. But it is still much cheaper than single games. |

MMORPGs are the cheapest, long term entertainment there is. In the end though, MMORPGs give me the opportunity to be the hero in the story. I don't just read about it in books anymore, I get to "be in" the story. But I am also an avid role player. When I'm not working, spending time with my family, or working on music with my band and rockin out, I'm a ranger with a shaded past trying to seek atonement, or a bladeist seeking "the one" Blademaster said to have never died that can teach me the ancient secret of bladeshifting (a manuver believed to be just a myth that empowers a blademaster with the ability to move so fast, that they appear to move "through" thier advisaries leaving an entire regiment slain in just a matter of seconds). God gave me an imagination for a reason. Role playing give me the opportunity to use it (besides writing music). A tiny mind is a tidy mind... |

Mmos, the games life-time is much longer than a single player for a small price of 15$... They have people, when i play single player games it gets way to lonely without some kind of chat system and seeing others, even in FPS, that is why i play my fps games currently multiplayer only, i barely go back to single player, cheating is fun, but were is the fun when its still only you =/
Interacting with others to not feel alone.

Tune out of the real world and destress ( unless some nob gives me grief - welcome to ignore foo!) but yup to tune out from hearing about everything bad in the world everyday, log in chat to some good friends I have made on MMO that I play. Personally I find MMO's more of a pay to use chat room, but hey since my mates are all over the country nowdays its a great way to chat and bash something made of pixels hehe! if regads to a few posts I have read over the years, I am a lucky one cause my wife is an MMO player as well, so I have no issue with my mrs says GET OFF NOW!
Cheers

Oh yeah, drugs and booze is so much better. Let's see, concussions, amnesia, vomiting, back-fire from the drugs, death murder etc.
And mmo's, random nabs flaming "I POON YOU FU" and you get a laugh. I think i'd do the second <<
I do party occasionally, and it's not like the computer is my whole world. The speed of the mole and the power of steel is my weapon |

Lmao. Sense you are still young anf foolish i will say this once and for you're own good. Skip the Booze, Drugs, untill you are about 50 then play that game. It may be a Blast now but when you reach 50 + and have nothing left to party with, you will realy find out who your friends were. when the booze and money is gone so is a lot of everything else. party on. |
