QFFTT IMO  or Quite Far From the Truth, In my opinion

Runes of Magic  in it's current state is far from polished and far from being, and possibly even from becoming,  an enjoyable MMO experience.  There's a little bit of everything from every MMO I've played, including chinese text, and a lot of GRINDING.

The quests are par for the course as far as tasks are concerned, but they are uninspiring with little to no Lore. The entire time I was in the game, I really didn't care about what I was doing or why and that was mainly because the in game lore, and reason for existing, back story, etc is not established very well.

It's an closed beta, yes, but it's a translation of a finished chinese game. They aren't going to change anything, what we see now, will be what we get when a wipe is done and translation is complete. I have already given up on this title and I was really hoping it would be 'the F2P' game.

I honestly can't recommend any F2P MMO.... You could try Guild Wars, it's subscription free, but you do have to buy the CD's.

Compared to Guild Wars, it doesn't compete. But you actually have to buy the retail version for that game. RoM will be free to both download and play, and I was comparing it to others of that ilk. The general standard of F2P's is not very high, and therefore I feel against this limited competition, RoM stands out as being a cut above.

Ive actually tried both Guild wars and i've been in the runes of magic beta for a long time, but runes of magic as of now is a really big grindfest, i dont know if im allowed to say why so i wont,

but Rappelz is polished? Ive never played that how is that?

Rappelz is one of the biggest Grindfests of all F2P games....

I just got into the Priston Tale 2 Beta and its the best FTP Game I have ever played. I spent the first few minutes just looking around the world and saying wow this game is beutiful. The music is also amazing. I recommed anybody looking for something to try it. There are 2 websites hosting the game.

The first link is where the game just started Beta but it may be an IP Ban for the US when the game launches. The second link is sceduled to start beta in a couple of weeks and it will be the US only Version.

I will never believe there will be a F2P polished so well still kept as F2P. The Item Mall is the key design makes them imperfect even they calls it Perfect by themselves.

F2P means the game lacks of confidence to appeal a large variety of player's interest but more appeal to their own interest in making money without responsibility.

The design of all F2Ps are made up piece by piece which is different from a good game design in a whole piece. That's the reason it will never be polished. Bugs never ended and unpredictable bugs generates by itself whenever there was a slightly changes.

Let's just keep low end as low end please.

2moons is pretty fun, looks great, runs great and the deadfronts are a blast and a good addition to the asian mmo genre.

okay im going off of the f2p spot for a minute and want to ask about a p2p game that i never got the chance to play.. Age of Conan. I hear a lot of different stuff about this game, from people who played since release and people who just started and people who played but quit and so on. how is the game AS OF NOW. I dont care how it was when it was released or anything like it. how is it right now. Because im dying, absolutley dying for an addicting mmo.

Yup i never seem to lagg at all in atlantica,maybe right when i log in, but thats because of all the pop-ups and that i log off in rome, which is the most populated place

I will 5th or 6th..idk how many people but Atlantica is the only DECENT free 2 play mmorpg. Honestly the rest are pure garbage.
