Considering how genuinely boring this game has become, they should start up some classic servers asap.

I think we should all go round to Kavlis house and beat him/her senseless for creating such an invoking thread title.

I use to dream from time to time that I play pre cu swg, and i´m so happy in my dream. In the moment I wake up it feels so good, but a second later it goes up for me "waitaminunte... damn". Well, i guess I at least can look forward to the next time I will dream about it.

I could never play Pre-CU in the state it was developed now.  The combat was so slow and lacking and I really would like to see some sort of collision detection, along with some REAL PvP in the game.  It was great for its time but as for today, I would want more.

I wouldn't subscribe to classic servers unless the game was low on bugs and modernized for combat.

You're just nostalgic and remember the good things but not the bad. Kinda like most people remember their first love.

The game did take a bad turn but it wasn't good polished in the "classic" era.

It was much better then the boring game we have now... much much better. Think if it had been worked with and polished.

your analogy sucks. What is bad about a first love? honestly? Sounds like a personal problem.

you didn't like precu. That's fine. But that's just your opinion. I remind you because you say it wasn't good as if it's a fact.

Why can't you be nostalgic about something you currently play? People can be nostalgic about music they still listen too.

The brain do often forget the bad and boring things that happen before, it is just sorting away information it won't need and that is a fact, talk to someone whos researching the brain.

And I didn't say that a first love is bad, just that most people just remember the good times and not the bad about it.

I can see what you mean about forgetting the bad. Instead of defending the points you made, you're arguing semantics. If you read your post again, and my reply to that post, you might recall how null your points became.

Sometimes I dream I am my characters running around in their respective mmo worlds.  It's a lot of fun.

Sometimes I still sit and daydream about what hybrid professions I would like to try out with my 250 skill points.     I miss playing my TKM/medic

Grrr i hate the starter of this thread with a passion, i thought this was a thread about factual news about classic servers, i was about to resubscribe only seconds after i confirmed it was real. and whoever said were dreaming about our first love or whatever, screw u. I played Anarchy online, everquest, UO, many other mmos before SWG and i still have not found a game since to satisfy the hole in my being. And this new old republic shit pisses me off its gonna be just as shitty as the current SWG and most mmos out there, heres to hope for darkfall or earthrise.

SWG classic servers.. if only..

Totally agreed.Its exactly like that first love and you remember it as been amazing but when you go back to it you realise what the heck i am doing back here.

The new SWG is terrible for sure but the old SWG had numerous numerous issues
