There is recent footage of them playing the game for almost half an hour, plus 7 other gameplay videos and over 620 screenshots.
You fail.

Excuse me, if you want to blindly believe that a company that has consistently failed to allow any outsider to actually play the game and report on it, actually has a playable game you are truely overly trusting. All those videos only show what they want you to see. It is so easy to stage video of what you know as working in the game and then put it on the web. You can do that with any game that is years from release. If they have such a great game then why are they hiding it? Huh? The only reason to hide anything, especially in this industry, is if you have something to hide. So far Adventurine has done nothing to make us trust them. They are basically good at hype and disinformation, beyond that who knows. Personally I would love to see one of these Indie firms put out something worthwhile. The big gorilla's in this industry won't budge from the Wow mold and will only change if someone small takes a chance and succeeds.

Excuse me if you only seem to get your info from this website and not the official one. They have welcomed at least 2 people to play their game live in the studios and have reported on it. They arent hiding anything. Unless you consider a 17min 100% ingame footage video, and a 30min+ live demonstration of the game being played online (not some offline mode) at a convention hiding...then i dont know. And as far as them only showing us what they wanted to....thats silly. If that was true they wouldnt have been playing it online. Im sure the internet going down at the end of the video wasnt planned lol. And even though it was the internet and not the game...lets just say they are lieing about that for the sake of arguement. What game still in beta doesnt have some crashes? Hell WAR still has CTD issues and its a few months after release!!! ~~ Darkfall Recap of everything that has happened the last 3 months: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/213296 "The monsters are tough. I was looking for a challenge, but these things are just too damn smart." -DF Beta Tester "If people were dismissing it, then they wouldn't be talking about it. The well-meaning gamers root for efforts that try to raise the bar. So who's left? It's so easy being a skeptic." -Tasos |

First of all, they lost connection to the greek internet, the game didn't crash. way to pay attention! And your only bad points for this game are the graphics and animations? This must be the best game ever because evrything else is perfect. Seriously, if you want shiny graphics go play AoC. It's unbelievable how retarded the MMORPG.com community is, learn to read up on something before you open your hole. You guys are a bunch of stupid kids who want to play free korean MMOs with shiny graphics and spit on anything that isn't exactly that. If you are too blind to see what Darkfall could be then that is really a shame... |

Yet, console games can sell through a million, 5 million, etc...Yes, single player games..but MMO's are making headway. WoW has proven this is not a niche market. WAR sold 1.2 million boxes according to their charts, AoC 800k boxes (note, I am not saying SUBS...thanks)...YET They cannot retain that number....why? Quality is key. I will agree that someone said Darkfall has been in production so long that maybe it WILL be good. But, so far, they have so much they wish the game to do, and over promising seems to be the norm for MOST games. Like I said, when I see an MMO keep a million, then I will believe it is worth a crap. Darkfall will not be that game. |

Originally posted by SXRchosen1 No, an MMO that wont shut it's doors (Hellgate, Auto Assault), or have population issues (AoC, LOTRO, Vanguard, TR) will have a million players or more. It at least will tell me that the game must be worth playing if so many others play it. 11 million have not been wrong so far. |

They promised everyone would get a chance to play the game for free before they had to buy it. |

LotrO doesn't have population issues... Just because an MMO has less than 1 mill subs doesn't mean it has issues. You are a stupid sheep that can only like something when others like it. Do you really want to play the same game forever? do you want everyone to keep copying EQ? Why can't you give MMOs that actually try to be innovative a chance? |

That is my issue. Darkfall "talks" innovation, but so far I have not SEEN anything to say this will be as it is. LOTRO is a sheep game, WAR is a sheep game. If Darkfall even tries to be somewhat different and works out of the box...cool. But, I have seen nothing to prove to me it will be what everyone says it is. |
