I want to start playing this game but I have a few questions before I do so.

1. I can pick up Rise of Kunark for $10, is that the one that comes with everything? Is it worth it?
2. I am more of a casual player and I enjoy to solo quests, can I do it in EQ2?
3. Is it too late for me to start playing? Will I be very far behind everyone else?
4. Is the community helpful and friendly for newbies?

Is it too late for me to start playing? Will I be very far behind everyone else? its a great time to starts, new patch means 1-70 should take about 100 hours or just over and 70+ is active (lower levels are a little quite but that depends on the server.) also there are always people rejoining because of new expansion

I agree with the frog colonel.

My friends talked me into playing EQ2 after our guild got bored with Warhammer, at first I didn't think I was going to like it, but after couple days I'm hooked...  If you like PvE and have friends to play with, its a blast..

That said, soon as SW: The Old Republic comes out ill be definitely be heading for that game, but its a good year off so ill probably be playing this game until then...
