Why is this site so disrespectful to wow. If there is a site dedicated to mmos how can wow not be the most popular game all the time. Instead crap games like Warhammer are always listed on top eventhough nobody is playing that garbage anymore. I can only compare it to a golf website that never mentions Tiger Woods. Except Wow is alot bigger and more important to the MMO world then Tiger Woods is to golf. I think that some of the employees from some of the game studios are manipulating the site or maybe the site it self causes this because these lesser games advertise alot more. |

most WOW players don't even know about this site if they go to a forum it is the WOW forums the people that come here (me included) are bored of WOW or unhappy with certain changes made in the game (mostly making PVP boring and forcing a BG gear grind on us)

If you have a site dedicated to all mmorpgs then of course some people will not like wow. If this were not the case then these other games would have no customers, or a lot less. |

WoW is not the best MMO ever....and never has been. It's easy to learn and runs on almost any machine...making it playable for anyone of any age.
The number of people playing doesn't really make it the best.
Just like...
McDonalds does not mke the best burger in the world...it just sells more than anyone else cuz they appeal to all ages, are cheap, quick in and out, and you can find McDonalds everywhere.
They are both very popular and number 1 in their fields as far as players/customers...but neither is the BEST...by far. |

Tinfoil hats aside, the staff at MMORPG.com can write all the 'glowing' World of Warcraft articles they want, but it doesn't change the fact that you can't force the community here to offer praise and worship to a game just because it has large subscription numbers and has been successful. There is a large portion of the gaming community that little or no respect for the type of gameplay experience that World of Warcraft offers, and they are all entitled to that opinion, and as long as they post within MMORPG's rules/guidelines, the community is free to express those opinions, be they positive or negative. Such is life. |

wow is pop. pop is for retards, the un-informed, idiots who dont care what goes in their heads, mommies trying to be cool, and little kids who want to be cool. britney spears was pop, michael jackson was pop, and vanilla ice was pop. pop may stick around for a loong time, but looking back on it people generally realise it was in-fact shit. pogs, yu gi oh, naruto...all shit, some people are just to stupid to smell it and walk away. |
