Not sure how many players are going to quit but it's going to make a dent. What happened is players and npc's were turning into zombies. Orgrimmar got infected so much on the server I play on that you couldn't even run to the Flight Path without turning into a zombie and dieing. It's kind of funny in a way because there are dead skeleton corpses everywhere. The only pace I could find solace was in Silvermoon City. It hasn't been infected much at all. I wonder if Blizzard really knew what was going to happen. But the game is mostly unplayable now until the event goes away. |

I agree with you on that. I was in SW trying to BG, but couldnt because all the BMs were dead. So i go to outlands to quest and the same crap happens there. After a while i got back to SW to buy somethings off AH, but guess what i cant cause everthing is dead or a dam zombie. So i just said the hell with it that pretty much seal the deal on me quitting the game for good. I think its time for me to move on anyways after 4+ yrs and besides RoM is looking pretty good |

For the folks out there asking for innovation or other new fun stuff in games, it's people complaining about events above who ruin chances for this coming to your local and/or future games. |

This event ending Friday night? Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

The zombie infestation was fun for a little while although if it goes any longer it will go too far. I don't want this continuing until the WotKL is over. And yes I do believe some people quit. |

Alot of people are angry over this event, But they wont be quitting, they just go and level alts, Or raid with me when its raid time(Takes us 15mins trying to get everyone out of the cities), Or they just go for a refreshing jog or hang out with their wife/gf,
Still, Blizzard has screwed up in this event, but people wont QUIT over it, they'll get pissed off, take a break for 1hour, then go do something else ingame, that doesnt involve being in a city >.< |

I guess if you are still playing WoW, Blizz can do pretty much anything they want and you wont stop playing it. You are all Slaves. |

I've enjoyed the event and they just gave people what they wanted in a event but if players can't cope with this I couldn't imagine world pvp and invasions. |

Well first off you should probably get your facts right in that it isn't a 'Halloween Event' it's the pre-cursor to the launch of WotlK resulting in the Scourge mounting an ever growing attack on Alliance and Horde cities (like when Naxx was released). I can understand people's frustrations but it is actually making the game a hell of a lot of fun at the moment. How often are you going to see undead overtaking cities, turning players into zombies and leaving nothing but sprawling piles of skeletons in their wake. The funniest thing about all this is that in an age where people moan about lack of innovation, Blizzard are getting slammed for doing something FUN and DIFFERENT. If this is really stressing you out either leave WoW, don't play during this period or get a sense of humour. This is only gonna happen once, so you might as well make the most of it. |

The zombie invasion IS NOT part of the halloween event. It's part of WotLK. Arthas' forces are invading azeroth and outland, starting with the infection. Now there are Necropolis' infront of every major city |

I got to hand it to Blizzard, that event sounds like a stroke of genius. Almost makes me want to resub. |

It just gets annoying when you are trying to acheive some goals. You turn into a zombie and then can kill other players or npc's before you die. It's amplified because if anyone gets touched by a zombie the person is infected and turns into a zombie themselves within a couple minutes. I'm a little upset because I put items in the AH and nothing is going to sell. I guess WoW is having a market crash. |
