Up untill now, there's been one Deploiment a month, so D15 should hit live before Christmas.

I think what they meant was TR has failed to produce content they said was in the works so many times now that no one believes they will get Earth or the AFS going there any time soon. The deployments have been monthly, the amount of content in them was generally weak. |

This game must not die!!! They are already going into the right direction with it. With more content added, things fixed and opening Oceanic servers the game can go strong. However, they seriously need to consider that Stargate is coming. If the guys are sure enough and confident when they have patched this game to its limits, they can re-luanch it as Rebirth of TR. Though they had a very terrible start at the beginning, i am sure that TR isn't a piece of crap. Its just not taken care of properly at the begining. I hope that they don't give up with their hard work just yet, remeber that this game IS the only sci fi MMO at the moment. Use your marketing head NCsoft!!! |

It is simply bad nusiness for them to do that at this point. Maybe this game needs to die, so other games in the future hopefully learn a lesson that you can not put out single player, no content after the halfway level point MMOs and make money. TR is still not being taken care of properly or do you think going from the PAU idea to the single MECH for all idea was a good change showing real innovation and genius? |

you can't really compare EVE Online with Tabula Rasa. EVE is 100% flying around in a space ship, while TR is constantly fighting on the ground. Still a major difference even when they're both Sci-Fi MMORPGs |

vapourware
I'll not believe a damned thing coming out of the dev team until it's actually live on the production servers
their track record on delivering promised additions/improvements/content has been dire

Honestly, the idea of adding earth to the game and allowing high level players to go there, plus using it to create content for their mech addition makes a lot of sense. This is exactly the kind of content the game needs. (And has needed since launch.) But think about it for a second. It took them YEARS to make their one mech which was originally planned even before launch. It also started out as a much larger idea then got shunk down to just one mech. Do you really believe they have either the skill or resources at this stage of the game to add a whole planet to the game? If they even manage to pull it off at all it will probably take the form of small instanced mission zones which will look suspiciously like the planets we have now, with only one or two new graphics to make it different at all. The way they keep throwing the word "epic" around like they are suddenly going to start turning the game into WoW doesn't exactly inspire me with confidence either. Each man must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your conviction is to be an unqualified and inexcusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let men label you as they may. ~Mark Twain |

The idea of adding a new planet is not new. They had a planet planned I think it was called Myclon or something like that. I guess the players wanting to go back to Earth made them change that plan. If they pull it off and integrate the Mechs into it, they could have a great addition to the game here. Still think the original PAU idea would have made it better, but too late for that so have to hope this helps. |

I would wait until it is in before getting too excitied. It is a good idea and hope it works but a little realism is needed when considering TR timetables for new content. |

if they have announced that this will be available around christmas - expect it to arrive sometime in the third/fourth quarter 2009, and be incredibly watered down to insignifigance
I've seen too much empty vapour to believe this will happen in any timely manner |

Just wanted to say, Mycon is still supposed to come, some of the quests give away that there's a connection between the survivors on earth and Mycon. ;) |

TR might be best served by an expansion that includes both and some real epic battles. Maybe some advertising and a huge expansion that is at least the size of the current game world. I know it will not happen as an expansion that size woul take big money and a big team and right now TR is probably not in a position to provide either, but it could have been great. |
