they mentioned rvr in the 1up blog..and the game is set up for rvr with the two different factions and the factions within each faction..so i expect a game with great pvp and pve and no its not impossible to do.

So far WoW had good PvE, but not so good PvP.  War has had pretty good PvP, but not so great PvE.  I'd rather have the good PvE and OK PvP if there is PvP.

Exactly... however I would be getting it for the PvP, and ofcourse I'd want good PvE to complement it but mainly for the PvP :)

i am willing to bet that pve will be the main focus of this game, as it should. you will probably be disappointed if you want to play this game mainly for pvp, that is just speculation though.

Yeah I hope it's nothing like wow or all those other games. 

They need to come up with a new idea.  I personally think BGs in wow were the most retarded thing, maybe right after arena.  Here's a group of 10 people on each team and let them run at each other and kill each other....what a fun!

I love world pvp tho or as some people now call it rvr.  I hope this game has that in it :)

Don't just watch the video at gamespot, read the interview too.

I read the interview and highlighted the points they went over.  There was a new interview posted from a different website that mentions PvP, but doesn't say much at all about it.  I think PvP is going to be something on the side after they finish off the rest of the game.  You will see a little sprinkled in here and there and possible a lot at endgame as they don't appear to want to have raiding.

As for the PvE, i couldn't care less whether it is single player focused as i don't really give a shit about PvE. To me Online games should be focused on players working together against other players and not against stupid NPC's with no AI.

Well so far they have said they want to try and make all parties happy which is never a good thing IMO as that will be almost impossible.  As for PvP I think you will likely be disapointed with it in this game.  Bioware has always been about creating solid PvE RPGs.  As someone mentioned the only game they had PvP in was Neverwinter Nights and that game had a horrible single player PvE campaign.  Probably the worst ever made by Bioware.
