Parties give much larger experience than plain killing solo, plus you kill monsters faster, and can do harder monsters  that are impossible to solo for particular levels. Some quests and dungeons require parties, especially during mercenary recruiting and higher level dungeons (valley of kings onward).

Yep, parties can really level up your character. Imagine if you are just wandering around the world of Atlantica and your party members is fighting, you also gain some experience with them. Another would be you can join them or they can join you in much harder battles. That alone is a good example of a multiplayer aspect of the game.

I'll just recently tried playing in the free league of the game and, well, I died. And, my opponent has a level lower than mine! That just shows that this game's PvP aspect is more on strategy. I enjoy grinding my way up a level and Atlantica made that part fun for me (I'm honestly not affected by the Stamina system of the game... I mean, it regenerates naturally so it realy doesn't hinder me from grinding... unless, I'm just a casual grinder?) and the free leagues will also keep those PvPers happy!

Take time to smell the flowers!

Warning: Intervening my gaming habit will be dangerous to your health. =p

Yeah you can party while the members are away, but it is better to party while you are fighting the same monster. I mean teaming up. The experience gained during that kind of party is much bigger than the party gained while members are away.

Yeah partying while fighting the same monster (teaming up) is recommended, but you should party with the levels just within your bracket. I mean maybe 10 levels below or higher than you because I have partied to players with levels way way higher than mine and we didn't maximize the gaining of experience.

What's interesting about the game is that it strongly encourages you to interact with other players in the game. Even if you're not really into PvP battles, you can still interact will other players by forming parties or joining guilds. There are some quests that requires you to be a member of a guild to complete it and some bosses in the game are really tough that it requires you to party with a friend to defeat it.

Atlantica Online has definitely got the multiplayer part of the game. You can form guilds, be a member of guilds, and form a nation. That is like a government ruling a nation in a game. Another would be partying. You can either share experiences, or join to fight an enemy.

Add to this the activities that can be done when a member of a guild and a nation. ^^ For the partying, it is faster to kill and gives rewarding experience and items. ^^ And now that the item mall it up and runnning with a few problems of course(surely be fixed pretty soon) And those sold not really a necessity  or is required to play the game. so i can say that the item mall doesn't disappoint me. lol

The game itself promote a multiplayer status to all mmorpg games out there, since you can interact with other on many other ways like joining a guild, free league, pvp, level up partying and a lot more. This game really promote on how will you strategize against your enemies.

true true. one time, i almost got beaten by a lvl2x and well, im lvl4x. stratefy+good armor=WIN!

people are also a good sport at the free leagues. you'll never fail to see anyone saying gg there. well, there are the sore losers too, but don't let them get you down.

one thing to remember at the free leagues is learn the move and guard function. they're pretty helpful. :D

Yeah they are helpful, those switching places and guarding. Also, you can try PvP with your friends. You can test some strategies with them and you can learn from them too. That's how good the multiplayer part is. One thing Iike too is the sharing of monster info.

Hmm... Interesting. Didn't know the developers had thought the multiplayer aspect of the game that hard. I really like partying with my friends and it's especially fun when defeat a particularly hard boss.:)

The best part for me with this game is, it’s pretty easy to understand and get the feel of the game. With the very in depth PvP and Guild options. Players can participate in PvP leagues to win fame and fortune or form powerful guilds to conquer and manage cities. And for the more detailed oriented, by repeatedly battling the same monsters players can unlock journal entries about them which displays their stats and loot drop tables

That's the best way to go to test out strategies. Do compete with your friends and practice. With monster sharing, there is a title related to it. so it would be best if you get the quest for that monster expert. There are a lot of aspects that the devs have included in this game. The small things like experience gained when giving a gift to beginners and other such. ^-^

I'm slowly learning how to put use guard and move and well, it helped improve my chances in winning at free leagues a bit. And, I'm trying to upgrade my equipments as well. If I become more serious in PvP, I'll probably chance my formation as well since I've notice having the right mercs is also essential as well (like for example, I have two shamans which really have low defense so I'm planning of changing that... Not sure to what at the moment...).

Impression of Atlantica Online tossed as just another MMORPG game out there, or worse, it may not be as good as the others. But as I entered the game itself, it turned out to be wrong after all.

The game has an exclusive turn based battling system feature like no other. The idea should make players worried about what tactic is needed for the faction. A good player have to consider the formation of the party, the roles of the mercenaries, the damages of the monster can inflict and the moves have to be performed during a precise time. Its difference from any other battling system is in every bout from monsters comes different approach of strategy. There may be easier or harder practice of fighting with just the same fiend encountered. Having idea of perception and awareness during battle is a must and swift response since there is a limited time each round. Over all, the game’s inspiration made the combat structure into a whole new level.

The environment is a blast, a premium setting, which should convey players experience historical beauty. It is actually an advantage for the game; it formed rational scenery in creative ways. It has landscape of South East Asian and European countries, such as Athens and Korea. There are terrains, animals and structures which will give participants the mood of countryside geography. The characters are so detailed, the facial expression is so real, and the design is outstanding, everyone can feel like a real warrior. The game should obtain a high respect for its graphics.

The best of its features? Playing the quest. It has an automated function where you can reach the appropriate NPC to talk to without spending time walking literally or having hard time looking in the map. This function should place the players to the set location where the next destination will be. It’s a blessing for a gamer; it should lessen the time and effort in questing.

Agreed, Atlantica Online is a very unique game, which makes it a must-have game. Though it’s nice and stunning, it has its own repulsive traits. The battle system is so good that it may take so much time to finish a single fight. It may have the gameplay slower. Players may also have a lot of reliable mercenaries, yet you have to control each one of them, which is a total crap. You have to worry for everyone else in the party. The Hero may be a warrior or a spell caster yet instead it should force players to be good at any jobs, worse, worried about the equipments for all of them, actually 9 of them. It may sound cheesy and definitely leave a mark, which is a shame.

Playing Atlantica Online is a very overwhelming experience everyone should consider. New ways and looks of MMORPGs and devastating work of tactics and strategy will definitely bring this game to the top. This game is absolutely a Must-Have and in no doubt, a game that is worth playing.

Changing mercenaries, you really can't avoid doing this simply because as you level up, you realize more and more the line-up that fits you best based on your battling experience. Do check the posts in the atlantica forum of this site since you will see a lot of guides there and ideas on battle tactics and battle formation.

Multiplayer also gives a fun experience to friends in real life, not to mention all those copuples i got to know who play this game together. This is somehting that made me smile after i found out about this that most of the players in my friends list are related to each other as family and/or friends. In any case, happy gaming and good luck to your formation.

First im having difficulty at the combat controls but whe n you get used to it.. its very easy. . you can attack at the same time. .loot system was alright at first its difficult to loot if you are used to other mmorpg loot system. Pvp hahaha haven’t tried yet. . im busy leveling up my character and mercs.. . locating npc and place where to go to was not that hard. You can use the auto move function then you will never consume much time being lost and looking for your next quest.. its easy. . . item box was random you don’t know what you’ll be getting but its alright you can use it to your merc if you already have that item. .thats for I can say just starting playing this game this morning .. ^_^

Thanks for the advice. I am starting the check the forums more often since I've been seeing really good information in there.

Awe... Lovely story there! It's nice to hear the games do in fact bring families and friends together! I've been trying to influence my friend and siblings to my gaming habits but alas, I am unsucessful! Maybe I'm not trying hard enough?

With the advent of so many MMORPG games around with the same game play it would be hard for developers to set themselves apart, in the case of Atlantica Online they veered away from the normal game play of MMORPG’s and made the combat system a turned based one. Hmm, people who would hear turn based games would immediately think that the game itself is slow. However AO’s turn based combat system is fast dynamic, and rarely boring. Even leveling up is swift and steady, plus with their integrated auto-move to NPC’s and quests will keep you relaxed and not feel like the game is a chore that needs constant attention..
