Hey Folks,

Lets get these "I quit posts cleaned" up.  This post is for people who quit the game and would like attention (instead of just leaving) like they should if they no longer wish to play.

So.. Please give the reason why you quit.  If it's other, please respond with why.  Thank you.

Personally, I'm not going to quit simply because I need a game to play live, and there's naff all else out there currently (not that I see any bright stars on the horizon either).

If I were going to quit, it would most likely be because of the monotony. Maybe it will improve when more players hit cap, but I can't see it. I hope I'm wrong.

I cancelled because the world is empty and I can't do any content besides scenarios and quests, I can't do pqs nor can I do open rvr

Out of the four replies (not including my own) I see that half of the posters didn't read the post and just looked at the poll title.

not canceling any time soon. Still find the game fun and plenty of RvR at the moment on my server.

Btw, I like how this thread, which is specifically about why people have quit, is filled with people saying they haven't quit. Priceless.

none of the above, its a great game and I have no intention of cancelling.

Because there's nobody there to do them.  It's sad really, I'd really love to do them.

PQ's are empty on my server, theres never anyone doing them, and even when there is, it's never a functional group. Especially since there are PQ's which are designed around having a entire warband.  which is just lawlz.

For Open RvR, order have been pretty much beaten into the ground enough that the pvp zones are empty, except when a order warband forms from a guild and then they take the keep and lose it soon after, and then the server continues being completely dominated by destruction.

So what am i to do?  The boring quests which offer pathetic exp.  Solo grind PQ inf(oh boy the fun), reminds me of grinding rep in wow.. only over and over). Or do scenarios where i can easily snab a large amount of exp/renown.

Frankly, the game is great, and if I could actively participate in group content then i'd be playing this game snap snap.

I didn't quit either.  I wanted people to stop spamming the forums with the reason they quit.  Thank you for your input though.  Next time.. you shold read.. and not assume.

I'm in the same boat as you Bladin.  I'll will try to get my order toon up to 40 but I don't know...  Maybe I will reroll on one of those high pop server.
 

I've actually found the game quite entertaining and enjoyable; however, technical issues (stuttering; a wide-spread phenomenon known to a variety of machines) has prevented me from enjoying the game. As a healer I find healing to be incredibly difficult as I'm constantly being bombarded with skipping frames.

I'm not quitting WAR because I hate it. I'm quitting it until they fix these issues. Mythic has been doing a great job cleaning up the game, but right now I do not feel it is deserving of a monthly fee until I can appropriately play it without problems.

Just back from a keep defence and taking 2 objectives under their noses with my strike team. Back to the fray. Destros have only one keep standing in T2 on Karak-Norn and the fight is bound to be teh awesomez! No time to loose!

Why would I quit? It just came out.

No really mate i feel sorry for you. Please just reroll on a Core server. I'd advise a RP one because people are much more willing to talk and the balance is generally better.

My server was pretty imbalanced and low-pop but things have been getting better and better. Core servers have mechanics to prevent imbalance taking too much fun out of the game... and eventually things even themselves out.

I know you dig the game and it pains me to see you're not able to enjoy it.

And once again I state: Please post why you quit.. not.. "I didn't quit".. This post is not directed at you.. just as a post about "How to play an Ironbreaker" isn't direct at you if you are playing a Ruin Priest.
