For some classes the game runs fine. For other classes there are a horrible amount of bugs. guess it all depends on where you are standing. whats sad is the rabid fanboi response if you complain about one of those classes that has a bunch of bugs. play an WL or SH to 20 and tell me how smooth the launch was.

The game has its bugs and flaws, but off-handedly calling its release a "fiasco" as something self-obvious is a transparently intentional lie. In fact it is presented in such a skillful, underhand way that I really doubt the honesty of the OP. It looks like a pro intel job to me. fiasco Which it obviously isn't by any standard.

Sure this game still has some glitches, but nothing game-breaking. Even with big warbands I had not much lag. In my opinion you should just buy a better computer or find a better ISP. |

Been playing since launch, one crash on one PC (assuming you don't count where I pressed "decline" on the behave your self agreement a few times). Pets and Mob pathing need work, but that is always something difficult to get right its seems. Other than that I have found one "bugged" quest which was disable but I managed to get it to trigger halfway through somehow -then couldn't finish it. It term of success, I would say that it truely outstanding, and I give a standing ovation to the coders and support people. |

you guys are totally mislead by what he is saying. the fact of the matter is, about 1/3 of people playing warammer are getting the stuttering and fps issues. you make think its a smooth launch because there arnt many bugs, but in reality the game is unplayable for so many people. there are people with 200$ pcs running the game fine, and some others cannot. there are people with gaming pc's, quad processors, 4gb ram, that are having issues, and other are not. this problem has nothing to do with their pc's, it is the client(mythic). i have 2gb ram, 1gb geforce 8500gt video card, 2.2 dc processor. can run all shooting games and mmo's on high graphics; except for warhammer. when killing mobs ff is about 10-15, rvr and scenarios goes to about 5. for 2/3 of warhammer it has been a smooth launch, but for the other 1/3 that cant even play it; i dont consider that "smooth". its been a couple of weeks and every patch has made it worse. from day 1 to now its probably gotten about 30% worse for me(ff). if this problem isnt fixed soon, alot of people will be quitting after the free month. |

Meh this is what you get when you release an unfinished game which is a clone of another shitty game. "Zomghads its better than wow" comparing this game to another crappy game just to make it look good is really sad. |

The amount of pages in no way indicates a "mass" number of people having problems. 2. Most people don't want to admit that it may just be their machine or connection that's having the problem. Why? Because then they are either helpless to fix the problem or they have to blame themselves for the problem. We live in a blaming society these days and why take accountability when I can blame my problem on someone else. 3. It's not like Mythic is doing "nothing" about the problem. MMO players by their very nature are an impatient lot. They want what they want when they want it. No answer will appease the bitchers and whiners. If people are going to quit a game in the first few weeks of launch over these issues then I feel sorry for them because it's just stupid. 4. The end is not near and this month is not "make or break" for Mythic. Let's be honest, they have a very solid game right now and it's mere weeks from launch. They have already added several good features to the game (auto-loot, scenario queueing) so why make the jump that they are not going to do anything? In conclusion, the people on that website need to chill the ***k out. I know it may be frustrating for them but patience needs to be the order of the day. This game can in no way be compared to AoC. |

I'm sorry. But the same 50 people making 100 topics on a forum=/= 170,000 with performances issues. try again.

I should be thankful that I've NEVER had any issues with the client. Everything has been smooth and I've not even seen any lag other then the occasional mob "pop" from their posistion they were agro'd to appear next to you. This game is one of the smoothest I've played this early after launch. Good stuff! |

Just a note because I don't want to get into this debate that is filled with illogical and emotional responses...
People with super high end rigs are usually people who know a lot about computers, not the other way around. Statistically speaking many of them know how to tweak their settings, disable background application, use firewalls on manual settings, scandisk, defrag etc. etc. etc. Yet from what I've read there are a lot of people with performance issues even with those insane computers. Just because YOU personally don't have them doesn't mean they don't exist, it just means that the coding of Mythic is not completly done. It isn't optimized enough for all the possible computer builds That's one of the biggest problem with computers compared to consoles, developpers have to take so many different configurations into account. It's still Mythics fault for releasing something that wasn't optimized enough, especially when the game is centered around 50-100-200 people fighting in the same area. Those graphics are no excuse for poor performance :) |
