you not managed to find yours yet? just rightclick the party window and "join voice". you'll need to set up your keybinds of course.

also the free pony was delicious.

Holy crap it's only been out less than a month and already someone's freaking out about something that took LOTRO months and WoW years to put in. I think Sony is just now getting around to doing something like that in EQ2. (Granted, Dungeon Runners has it for premium members....)

Besides, I think I read somewhere back in beta they weren't looking into that just because, aside from bandwidth and server costs, it's impossible for them to moderate.

Guild Wars has never had the feature, and our vent server still works and sounds fine.

If it is implemented, I hope to god they use whatever LOTRO was using and not what WoW used. WoW felt more cumbersome than, say, a group of us talking over Xfire. LOTRO's actually sounded decent.

Many many many people will not use voice chat in game , for many reasons , just will not happen . My wife and i will not use voice chat, we play the game to get away and be immersed in the world , and we do not want to "hear" the people we are playing with . Many people live by voice chat and will not play without it , many hate it and will not play with it .

Voice chat in-game would be nice, I'd love it, but it's definitely not a necessity.  What I hope for is a step up from current VoIP systems in games.  Now that would be nice.

That wasn't a complaint.

I hope they don't add voice chat it'll be the nail in the coffin as far as getting a community going in game...not to mention I find it highly annoying to talk to 12 year olds, people with screaming kids in the background etc.

DDO pissed me off with their voice system.
