Hi all

I was thinking of trying out WAR, but before I do I would like to know how each class is populated. I don't want to play a tank if 99% of all people also play tank.

So what classes is the least populated in game? Or is it balanced?

squig herder, white lion, magus, engineer and sorceress are low pop because they suck (either pet pathing issues or balance issues) while swordmaster, ironbreaker and shadow warrior are low pop despite being fantastic classes. probably because most of order are brightwizards and runepriests.

I actually see quite a few sword masters on my server.

And ive seen far more archmages than runepriests.

Play what you want and will enjoy playing.  Be good at what you play and it won't matter how many others are that class...there can be tons of class "X" but if they aren't any count then what does it matter?

 I can see what you mean by not wanting to play what a majority of other people are playing, but I would recommend playing what you like. As thats what's most important in the end.

Hmmm on the main server I play on it would be white lion order side.  Actually see a lot of engineers.  Good amount of AM and RP, not as much as destro side zealot but a decent amount.

Saw alot of SW in t1 recently.  white lion pet is buggy plain and simple.  I expect to stay low and I won't reccomend playing it for now.  Seems like a good class for those inclined to the playstyle, but pet is buggy nuff said.

There is a pretty alrge variance for servers all in all.

Most popular seems to be WP and DoK on my server.  Not runepriests certainly.  Also black orc and chosen are pretty popular.  Definitely more tanks and healers on destro side for some reason.  Not sure why as IB + wp or rp is pretty darn good.

Destro: All Dark Elves, All Chaos except Zealot, Black Orc and Shaman

Order: All Empire, White Lion, Ironbreaker

Whatever you do, don't roll Disciple of Khaine. Every scenario I run consists of 5+ DoKs and other healers on top of that.

 Magus and Disciple, at least on my server, seem to be the two "rarer" careers. I'm playing on an RP server though, so it might differ from the norm.

QFT on the DoK's on my server as well.  Sadly I have yet to run into one of the DoK's that was worth a **it at healing so they are almost worthless.  Not many Zealot's either but my server is woefully undermanned on healing.  See a crap ton of Witch Elves though.

What I'm doing is playing several classes to lvl 10-11 to see what I like best as far as playstyle. So far I think engineer is a blast.

Played bright wiz, squid herder, shadow warrior ... well played most of the ranged so far... still tryin to decide.
