Been playing AOC for a few weeks now.  I like it!  The only problems I have are minor. The biggest is the liner feel to the world… What I mean by that is hitting invisible walls and canyons that “guide” you to the destination. I remember in SWG that the entire world felt open to explore. Also the same in LOTRO. There are few “hills” you can’t just walk up in LOTRO. I am constantly being guided to the path that the game wants me to take in Conan. So, that’s my take of the first 25 levels. I would suggest to anyone thinking of playing to give er a try.

Fair opinion. If your mid level now, in a short while Ymirs Pass new content zone for aimed for players around lvl 55 will be coming - testing it on the test server at the moment and its a truly spectular zone!

Remember to check out the re-done Black Castle / Pyramid of the Ancients and the sewers under Tarantia which all had a make over.

My condolences hope you get your full month of play time. Be very careful what you post on there forums.

I think that the sentiments are well placed because of the enjoyment your getting at the moment. It's good to hear. However, I think that people will mainly take a real good second look once patch 3 goes in and wait for more feedback in that regard.

I am two weeks into the game now. I am currently into the field of the dead, Lvl 39. It's a bit hefty, but ohh man I love this zone. Look forward to come back when I am in a bit higher level. I'm going back to wild lands of Zaleta for a bit more Questing meanwhile. Great game.

Yes, I like Field of the Dead too. Best zone in AoC hands down. Big open area, lots of mobs. This is how all the zones should be. Too bad it only lasts for 10 levels, and after that, zones become really boring.

The zone I hate most is Kheshatta. It's just an ugly place with ugly mobs and boring quests. Really boring. And it's the only lvl 80 zone in the game so you are stuck there!

Wait till you see Ymir's Pass, its nearly twice as big as field of the dead and full of different mob types. Sure its aimed at 50-60 levels. It's shaping up to be an awesome zone.

It's a well known fact that that AoC is pretty ok the first few weeks but once player gets to higher levels, he'll see how AoC is truly like.

It's like being drunk and hooking up with a sexy girl in a club. Next morning you wake up next to her. She smells, has a hangover, has no make-up and you wish you'd never met her.
