So anyone wanna give a gues as to when the WAR bashing threads are going to go away? Or when people consider the not cool to post anymore. I really am getting getting fed up of the constant nit picking that goes on in here. *cue lol fanboi replies* |

*Shrugs* i love warhammer. always have, especially the tabletop. It took 1 1/2 years to stop the nit picking between wow and everquest/UO you do the math i guess. I myself am still debateing on ditching MMO's all together. *sighs* www.roxstudiodesigns.com |

It'll die down once the next major MMO is released and they head off to peck at it. Never understood why those who aren't happy with the game become emotionally scarred and feel the need to vent off their frustration, seriously, if you're lacking a good friend or someone special in your life to vent such emotions on, find one quick. :s |

Same here, I've been a fan of Gamesworkshop productions for 15+ years, I remember dreaming about being able to play games like DOW,WAR etc.. as a kid. While i enjoy playing WAR I find that i'm not addicted to it or hooked on it like i should be... it makes me wonder if i should just give up on MMO's altogther? Playing: Nothing |

When WoTLK and Aion comes out, people will move to those games to start pointing out minor flaws in those games versus Warhammer... the wait is almost over. |

As mentioned, once the next game is released, people will forget about WAR and move on to another game. Of course, then it might be like LotRO, mostly forgotten and followed by its small core of fans. Probably better if the buzz continues due to its overwhelming popularity, a la WOW.

Its just that every day I come here looking to find a “guess what I did last night in WAR “ thread or a can anyone help me with X orY quest”. Some nice stimulating reading I can look at while pretending to work ya know? Instead all I get is “WoW is better than WAR” or “why I am bored” (I don’t care really). I really cannot woat till wrath comes out that way they can all go back and make “ Pre WOTLK was better” etc etc ad nauseum |

I guess really the reasons to be feeling this way for myself, is that MMO's have reached their climax. What is the "nex-gen" mmo has already been done and made. Now maybe a KOTOR mmo would be great ( for the gameplay and feel of it ofcourse) but really MMO's for me have gotten to the question of, "what haven't we done yet?" ya know? *Shrugs* I feel as though i've been doing the same thing now over and over again for 10 years now with it. for its not the "new things to do or see " bit for me anymore. or the "bragging rights" it's now all about the fun. what is fun for people? ... what allows you to have fun should be the question :) instead of constantly analyzing every mmo and game that come out untill the day we are set in our grave.

( first ever game where i have problems.. oh i and i have loads and loads of games ) low caps for servers.. poor coalizion detection .. 3 main points.. |

this website is less of a game centeric site (i.e. help with quests) and more of a MMO ingeneral site. So if you are coming here to find in game specific information then you have come to the wrong place. |

I would guesstimate, that the nitpicking dies out once WAR fans stop nitpicking other games....
Ya know, like claiming WAR to be the next messiah of MMORPG's, and telling other MMORPG players that they be stoopid.... Ofcourse, it also helps that a "new" bling bling game comes along... Just look at AoC.. The bitching by the "bling" crowd nearly died out, and only the haterz(tm) remain.

Please point out how it is ignorant? It is a simple question. I fail to see the ignorance here? |

A warhammer forum, dedicated to all things warhammer is pretty game centric no? I am not posting in the main general section here…? |

Never, its Whinehammer, age of bitching.
honestly the people on forums never tire of complaining about how overpowered their opponents are, or how important a minor bug is, or how vital a minor tweak is. ive not seen bitching on this level since i quit WoW. there, I said it. |

the nit picking will never stop it still goes on in wow. Mmorpgs are played by 1000s of people and not all of them can be pleased there will be always some1 nit picking no matter how long a game has been out or how popular it is.best thing for you to do if nic picking gets to you is dont look at the threads only look at reviews when i comes to chosing games. |

WAR is a great game, and i had no idea that runepriests were massively overpowered or that my sorc was pitifully nerfed and no fun until i made the mistake of going to WHA to find an answer to a question about a spell. MMOs are made or broken by communities, so im hanging around with people who i like. |

Good idea, and i have done that for quite sometime now honestly. i think though it might just be time to retire them, for myself ofcourse :) . For ones person choice and words should not be anothers to immediately follow. It's what they want to do right? i myself have been playing MMO's way to long with friends.. and enemy's. www.roxstudiodesigns.com |
