At this point i'd say no.If they make some improvements like smoother less contrived combat with npc's,better chat system, smoother character movements....there are many improvements that have to be addressed.the game has potential but right now it seems like an incomplete game and not worthy of my 15 beans a month. |

I wont unless they fix the lag, stuttering issue. I may be the minority here with this problems even though ive tried everything. But i really have enough of this crap, been trying to fix the problem everyday since HS.... its getting very disappointing.... RIP Orc Choppa |

If GOA doesn't get of their behinds then it's not even a question for me, even the best game in the world can't be supsribed to without a working website to do it on! Other than that I just may have found a new home for a while in WAR, it's much better than I expected it to be so far. However I only played low lvl yet so my opinion may still change. “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” |

Easily going to subscribe to this one. The bugs I have seen have been fixed fairly quickly and the game is just BETTER than anything out there right now. For those having issues with graphics, lag, stuttering, you may want to get more RAM or a faster vid card. I have none of these issues with 3 gigs of ram, dual core processor and 2 7600 nvidia 256mb cards in SLI mode. Game looks great, especially the detail on character models and armor. |

Actually, there are numerous people using dual and quad core with 4gb RAM (myself included) that are experiencing massive 'game breaking lag' and poor performance. Just type in warhammer stutter in your search engine and see. Yeah, drivers, anti virus, flash bios, reinstall etc etc etc Unfortunately, the game was rushed out well before it was finished to get in before WotLK before they committed to Blizzard again. Sadly, this has gone really wrong and they are hardly likely to admit to game breaking problems at this stage. AoC all over again I really hope they fix it soon as the game has some great features, character customisation, PQ's, tome of knowledge etc but at the moment it's badly coded, crawling with bugs and no where near optimised enough for large numbers of players. In answer to the OP, no, I'm not paying a sub fee as well for a half finished game. I didn't do beta but have submitted 24 bug reports so far, for a so called finished product, this is bad What we need is a new MMORPG set in magical fantasy world, where you can fight dragons, harpies and wolves, you can choose to be things like elfs, wizards, orcs and...Hang on, hasn't that been done a before?...Urrmmm yyyyes, but this time it will be really really different, honest |

I have the same issue with lag, stuttering etc. I have 3Gb Ram (well 4Gb but I am on 32bit XP) & the 'Nvidia 8800 GTS' so I should be fine, but it's pretty obvious that it isn't really a memory/card issue when the problem persists even at the lowest settings. I think I have tried every suggestion I have read now, right down to patching the 'usersettings.xml' file to remove 'Specular Lighting' & 'Light Maps' because the ingame custom control options don't work. None of them really made any difference though & the game is pretty much the same on both high & low settings, apart from obviously looking much nicer on the former. I know that many people are running the game happily even on fairly low spec hardware, but unfortunately there are quite a few of us that aren't so lucky. To return to the OP's question though, I think I probably will renew at the end of the trial as despite the lag issues I still enjoy the game a lot & I am trying to be optimistic about Mythic fixing the performance bugs. If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"? |

i'm sorry, but i don't understand your post. what in the world are you talking about with "carebear stare mechanics of the combat system". is that metro-slang for something?
i'm glad you're enjoying aoc... how are those battle-keep sieges going? lots of nonstop pvp action fighting for the battlekeep slots? or is it just the pve keeps... see what i did there? carebear = pve keeps only, yet you're rambling aimlessly about carebear stare something or another that didn't make any sense.
i had high hopes for aoc... maybe in a few years, if the graphics aren't too dated... i'll give them a call. if the game has evolved and gotten better, like other games have over time... eve online and the "city of" games come to mind.
edit: back to the op... if they get some basic game features fixed sooner than later (i.e. sending messages, ignore (for the massive amount of gold spammers), items/mobs/parts of your toon disappearing at random, crashes to desktop, getting kicked back to character and/or server select screens at random times, and a number of other issues already mentioned in this thread)... then yeah, i may re-sub. as is, i've got whatever's left of the 30days left. could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please? |

Yes because despite the issues, this game is quite fun. |

no i will not resub i bought the whole world pvp thing. only now i realize pvp in war is not much different then wow in that there is no world pvp just scenarios (bg's anyone)and boxed pvp in the rvr zones outside that the world is statisc and has no world capture points that i've seen. i keep getting told the game begins at endgame why make a game i have to grind 40 levels just to get to the start or the game |

yeah , ill be resubbing , ive only played low levels but the game kept me busy all day without me getting bored with it , also i would just like to say at this point i feel the game is very noobie friendly and the only thing i have issue with is the players themselves not talking much , but i guess thats just the new age mmo player they arent there for rpg aspect they just like playing a single player game in a mmo setting Some lead and some follow I prefer to stand beside! |

you act like there's hardly any rvr areas.... i see them everywhere. are you looking around or just running from point a to point b doing pve quests? even then, there's a number of "go check out this rvr area" quests that they give one after the other to show you some of the local rvr spots.
and i guess it's better than grinding 70 levels (soon to be 80) only to start your REAL grind for tier XYZ gear. could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please? |

play on a medium /medium server maybe the pop on a medium server is too low for war to be fun but i have done the rvr quest thru tier 2 i do not like pve and came to to game because all i heard was that war was gonna rock world pvp. my world pvp experience is on an open server tier2 guys ganking in tier1 areas. on a core, well i haven't seen any world pvp just some lame rvr where unless you are out numbered 2-1 tge other side just leaves the rvr objective for you to take
edit for this i don't have a 70 in WOW quit that game when guards were made dishonor kills(2 years ago i guess) i was looking for something that wasn't wow and haven't found it yet. |

I like the gameplay but this change with the XP scale from beta is really disappointing. I'm already considering not renewing my account. I'm going to keep playing but this game is really boring when your server doesn't have enough players, and thanks to their decision to force players to go through ALL the pairings to level, I don't really feel like making an alt. |

This is one of those indicators, imo, that a game simply sucks. Themeparks should be just as fun on the way to max level as it is once you get there. If you're bored going through the levels, chances are you'll be bored with the remainder.
As to the OP, I haven't decided yet. WAR is 'ok'; nothing ground breaking, but not bad. Most likely I'll see what the guild plans. Ico |

I started the game with a small group of RL friends and we've all agreed that we find the game fairly boreing and won't be renewing even if we make it to the end of the free month. |

yep, changed from one month to 6 month subscription. what can I say. I enjoy pvp and although the game could use more polishing i'm was more addicted to this game then most other games at launch. |

There were well over a hundred players on each side, and the people that weren't actually fighting at the keep were at each of the other 2 control points and even a few at the second keep fighting. Each zone has objectives that NEED to be taken. RvR zones? EVERY zone is an RvR zone. Perhaps you should be on an open pvp server if you're on one of the core ones, although to be honest I don't actually think you're on any server. If you had actually played then you wouldn't have written what you did because you would have known that every zone has objectives that need to be taken, as well as SC's that need to be won. And yes, I will def. be resubbing. Game continues to get better. |
