They put in a good effort to trash this game, but they officially have egg on ther collective faces. This game is a WINNER. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |

Well, some pointers I guess could be stuff like: 1. One of the best launches in MMO history. 2. One of the most polished game at launch in MMO history. 3. The most content-complete launch in MMO history. 4. Being the fastest-selling MMO in history. For me personally, I just think the game is damn fun. |

It's a game that grows on you. The best kind. It's like falling in love with a person you get to know, not some superficial fling with a person you don't know. People that trash this game haven't even scratched the surface in the gameplay, as far as I'm concerned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |

TBC is an expansion to an existing MMO, not a new MMO. As far as opinions... Well I'd like you to name which MMOs you think were better in those aspects. It certainly can't be any that I've played. |

It's not going to be gameplay or technical issues that make or break this game it's going to be how much the population imbalance will effect the end game content. |

I agree with OP. The trolls come out at every launch but they have been weak around WAR. WAR will make it, and is a very well made game. End game will be the key to it's longterm success though. The potential is great. |

Personally, I don't care who 'won' or 'lost' or even if that's possible. I'm having a damn good time and that's all I care about :) |

These are not all matter of opinion Number 1, 2 and 3 are facts. Number 4 is true as well, cause TBC isnt an mmo, it is an expansion. But yah, the game is just damn fun :)

And if your going to point out the obvious, that its an opinion, why not counter with some intelligent info besides calling an expansion the fastest selling mmo. Way to fail Captain Obvious.
I would agree with them all except number 3 ,because i havent seen end game content, so i will reserve judgement on that one---But it was released pretty smooth with hardly any bugs and the game does feel pretty complete so far........ So if your gonna be a wise guy at least include some info debunking what the guy above you posted instead of making yourself look like a troll.
EDIT***** ohhhhh after looking at your post history , it all makes sense, your just a wow fan boi who is on a mission to flame every other game out there by using your opinions as facts huh ????? only a wow fan boi would think TBC was a full game hahahahaha |

It doesn't count. WoW already had an established base of millions of subscribers, so it's not a surprise that it would be the highest selling. WAR will grow over time as well.

You really need to get your facts right most mmorpg after the frist few months usually the numbers crash, war so far has 500k after the frist week after the free month is over i'd expect that number to roughy half from anything from 200-300k most mmorpgs will hover around that mark for the rest of it's life, wow has been one of the few games that has had a increase in numbers after the the frist few months. |

For someone who just called someone out on facts, you really did seem to miss the mark on your post as well. WoW is not the only game to gain subscribers during it's lifetime, and it will not be the last. The main reason games tend to drop off right after release is due to bad launches, bad follow up content patches, and missing content to name the few. There are games that start out slow and pick up pace with subscribers, it's just too bad you refuse to see it. ~ ~ Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. |

You need to read posts better I said wow was one of the few not the only one to gain subscribers long term. |

Here we go again with all of WoW's sub numbers. There are 1.2 billion smokers in the world. Does that make smoking the best thing ever? I think not. It's a Jeep thing. . .

Yeah, I don't know about the the stability of this game. I was in the newbie starting elf area yesterday and on more than one occasion I found myself in spot of lag, say for 5-10 seconds. This would be a problem with a mob that I was attacking rubberbanding. I know, must be my computer, or connection. Maybe so. I was running a virusscan at the time. Otherwise, I was able to play AOC on high with no issues, so I'm hoping that will go away when I resume play today. Otherwise, I can't say much about the game. (level 3 doesn't give one much of a perspective to form an opinion)

lol.. some of these fools seriously think that in WoW they will be playing alongside 1.2 million people on their server... Some people just dont have a mind of their own, and look to everyone else to tell them what they like.. They are the perfect drones for a media run society.. I should become a journalist and program "cliff jumping" into their brains... WOO “There are dread secrets that none may know and have peace.
