Sorry Rollotomasi I am not looking for heat here and I am veryvery sorry that the WARalliance forums are hit that hard now (I feel with ya, have recently seen something similar). I am just surprised how wellkept these forums are compared to those.

Try reading some of the issues before you post a link about it here. Some of them are people complaining over nothing. These type of people are in every game, and only want attention. So they find something to grab ahold of, and shout about it. Like i stated, read them before you link them. I would cite some examples but you already posted the link.

Heh, if I lost a char and didnt get any help from the gms I would be really pissed. Memory leaks and so on is no big deal in a new game.

Actually the drama queens and the shit stirrers are the reasons why official forums are either total mess or shunned by developers.  DAoC has no official forum nor WAR.  DAoC has been a great game.  Hope WAR evolves to fill in the void left when DAoC sank.

I check that web site often. Most of the threads I encounter are people talking about the game as opposed to complaining about it. Guess we're looking at different web sites.

I just have a difficult time trying to inform myself when these self-professed preachers for one game have to try and bring any random thing to bolster their sermon. Yes, random. It's really easy to find fodder..of any kind, to prove a troll's or fanboi's pov.

It's just a shame little real dialogue and commen sense are used in the discussion.

How about the people that are losing their items randomly and get these responses from CSR:

Dear Customer,

As we have discussed in-game, we are regrettably unable to restore items at the moment

We can advise that there are renown gear merchants across all tiers from which you may acquire a replacement weapon. Also the auction house is available in your capital city.

Go away troll. The problems with Warhammer aren't even slightly comparable to the reams of problems that plagued Age of conan.

To list a few:

Fundamental mechanics such as stats/ feats broken and not implemented. (What a joke)

Female/male attack speed discrepencies.

Massive problems with memory leaks.

Bugged animations/ broken graphics (my dagger had the skin of a bow!?)

Many many broken quests, Xp exploits, dreadful class imbalance, Gems.... I could go on forever seriously.

People are aware that warhammer has bugs, sure. As far as I'm aware the bugs aren't to the extent that they are gamebreaking like on other releases though. All in all, a pretty smooth launch. What is the point in this thread?

Well the attached link is to the foum header, it is not to a particular bad thread. It is to 100 bad threads. I posted it cause it is shocking to me. Again this is in all sincerity and I was not intending to thread on any toes. But read it and be aware of it. This was new to me at least.

Go to just about any other MMO's webboard and you will see countless threads with people bitching about stuff.  If you just read the WoW boards you would think that everyone hated that game and were currently quitting, but it's still the most popular mmo.  AOC had 99% "I quit", "Game broken" threads, but seems to have stopped due to most actually leaving.  You, my friend, obviously have some issues if all you do is sit on the WAR forums here trying to stir up trouble.  Your type is much worse than any fanboy.  The WAR servers are still full, and pretty much everyone I have come in contact ingame with are having a good time.

Most forums are used for complaining, bitching, etc, as most of the people are ingame playing the game, nor do they visit the forums.  You can hope all you want that WAR will die, but it isn't going anywhere.  Maybe you are bored of the empty AOC servers and are trying to get some to come back so you can have someone to gank.  WAR isn't perfect, and there are people that don't like it, but I could care less.. My friends and I are having a great time, and will continue to.  Maybe you should go find a game you enjoy, rather then trying to piss off and annoy fans of competing games on an online forum.  I think you might be that kid who's a Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft fan, and then attack/bash the fans of the other companies for some warped sense of loyality.

All your hilarious obvious-troll posts are not going to damage WAR in any way.  The players of War will be enjoying WAR for quite some time while you throw your forum tantrums.

If this is something that happened to you, then I'm sorry for your inconvenience. However, if it hasn't, you're just proving my point that ppl use anything to enforce their view of something.

I don't know how many times I've read that mmos upon release will have issues to resolve. Maybe they shouldn't gievn the era of gaming...but they do. It'll get worked or it won't and you'll leave and never go back.

Those are not the WAR forums, if there is an official forum for WAR which there isn't, it would be the VN forums without a doubt. That is where Mark posts more than anywhere.

At this point the OP is being completely a troll he has no vested interest in the game but to constantly barrage us with hate threads. 

This one is the second funniest to the thread where everyone proved he was a lying troll by looking back at how he swore up and down that Xfire doesn't work and then came here claiming it does. 

But anyway on topic...honestly the threads at that link are really common.  There's always someone complaining they're not powerful enough or that X mechanic keeps them from Pwning all (come on a complaint on knock backs?!?  They're awsome they're also good for making stragetic moves with.)  The complaints over bugs etc is pretty common too...the game just launched..what MMO on the face of the planet didn't have similiar posts.  WoW had them, EQ1 had them EQ2 had them, AoC had them, DAoC has them..hell they all STILL have them. 

Where there are people...there are complaints.  Anyone who thinks you can go somewhere and it be complaint free are completely fooling themselves. 

Complaints and bugs are common place in MMO world.

you must be confused with your subject title... warhammer online does not have forums.

all those other places that talk about warhammer are easily ignored by the sorry-excuses at ea/mythic.

I agree. If I wereto  list, out of the 7800+ threads in the AoC section just here, I'm sure there'd a helluva lot more than 100.

In any case, he has definitely thrown me off ever returning to AoC, in fear of running into him and wanting to PK all the damn time.

again, if war had official forums, you would have the company moderating forums and you'd be able to find good information easily.

wait for 6 months and see what happens with the game.  if it goes to server mergers and those fewer servers all have high populations... maybe and maybe not -- it'll be good.
