The people falling through the world this much , this long after launch is funny as heck lol. In Beta it's expected but after launch thats some bad mojo there lol.
And lastly you realise you are already more than halfway done with the game after a couple of weeks? Level 50 in a couple of weeks only 30 levels to go before the lack of population or anything to do hits you. After you have been 80 for a week come back and tell us what you think. If you still like it great... If not then you see what alot of us went through. The games just not worth a monthly fee. F2P and they kept doing the bug fixes then yeah I would still play AoC once in a blue moon like I use to with guild wars. To pay for a game thats unfinished and bug ridden on a monthly basis is just to insulting to me I can't do it.
Man you are a complete rant.. You did not read the posts actually.. just scooping up a bad title... First of all. The AoC forum starts to get to a very positive place now.. Enter it and try and read the posts not just skim it for a promising title.. Another thing.. If you actually opened up the posts you posted you would understand that some of them are not negative at all, even though the title was so promising.. And just since you got into spamming the forums with links that nearly has no replies, I might just dig out any thing about WAR, WOW even, or any game out there but it is totally rediculous. There will always be improvements to make, but I and the rest of the AoC community belive gamebreaking issues are out of the way. In fact way better after patch 2.0 (If you push me I'll spam you with about 10 links on this)... Just to restate what I said in one of the other threads... FC management today announced that there is a surge in server activity as of from last week.. Also FC has slowly stabilized and increased in value over the last 5 days... I bet this really must really hurt, since you so badly WISH it was different. Keep on WISHING but stay on facts please. AoC has in fact a lot of good stuff going on.. Another performance increase patch this week.. |

My sub runs out in the middle or end of November as I was unable to get any kind of refund from FUNCOM for the 6 month subscription I was dumb enough to buy! When fanbois will say anything to silence the critics and spend more time here than they do playing the game... well what more is there to say?

What do you call someone that comes here defending what they know in their heart of hearts is still a totally ALPHA verison of the game? I mean FUNCOM just admitted POLISHED AOC not until January, yet you come here and try to convince people its all butterflies and roses in AOC.

ROFL have you ever tested an alpha? I've been testing one for a while. Wish I could say what it is :). However this is a ridiculous statement. I'd agree it should have been under testing much longer and more thoroughly. However, saying anyone is defending an alpha stage game is simply idiotic and unwarranted. No one is ignoring issues here, unless you count hater's who simply can't accept improvements have been made or 'cough.. current subscribers who won't admit it..cough'.. I hate this I love that (yepp even butterflies), while you really can not post that much at all cause you have not played it...(That must be frustrating :)). One of the links was having a good badass title, but it was all positive inside, the other one was also promising but again the same thing... Look noone is trying to cover anything up here. AoC forums have a bug/improvement consolidation thread running. I therefore think you fail to make a point against mine, since my point was simply.. There have been vast improvements (nobody said everything is perfect but hell if that's what you are asking for not even WOW will be able to present that... Quest have broken elements here and there, hotkeys get bugged.. etc..). Now again if you really think I am that wrong, when did you test out post patch 2.0, and what did you not like about it.. |

I didn't like that it played like a single player console RPG instead of a MMORPG. The combat system was boring and repetitive at high level, I hated the AE attacks for everything, the PvP is just set up dreadfully, the gathering system is the worst I've seen in any game and the instancing drove me nuts. Doesn't make AOC a bad game, just not a game that was designed for me. I think it appeals much more to the console crowd than the MMORPG crowd. |

Ok I can live with. As far as facts go there are 20 topics (not just posts) Talking about the new bugs that came with the pvp patch. I honestly do hope it gets better the most fun Ive ever had in a class based game particularly playing a healer was in AoC as my Bear Shaman which sadly I took to 80 twice lol. One on PvE server one on PvP server. I honestly have no hate for AoC , I do have a bit of resentment for FC though and that does come through my posts. My ideal situation would be for another company to take over completely. But again I would like for AoC to become a good game. I am admiting it is making a little head way but not as much as some like to try and convience others it is. My post was in spirit attempting to show facts that not all is rosey while my words along side the links may have held some venom I merely wanted those links along side your everythings fine now links. They come from the same forums and the same community as yours so I think there valid.
As far as my comment about the general forums with the link well that was in reply to someone saying that they were sick of the negative replies on the MMORPG.com forums. My point was that AoC official forums have just as many they seem more so here because people posting here aren't censored as much as AoC's forums. A negative thread that gains weight on the official forums tends to be moved fast wether it's a properly worded complaint or not. As the case with the guild recieving a full tier 3 City ect or the GM caught cybering. While the issue's AoC has may be censored to death in the AoC forums it doesnt seem to be deleted or "Moved" as much. If you want to freely post your opinion and information then you have to respect others freedom to do so as well.

Level 68 Bear Shaman, Quest log full and I have been doing quest the whole time I've played this game. I believe the issue of quest content has been fixed, and for a while now. The real problem is that all of these AOC haters have not played the game in months and it amazes me that they still come here to hate, and hate, and hate. The game has improved, get over it.
