I have registered my account yesterday and just activated my code this morning. But when I want to log in, it says 'Authentication failed. Please re-enter your login credentials'.. Is anyone having the same problem? I know for sure that I'm typing my account name and password correctly, because I could log in to the war-europe site with it yesterday. And the latest announcement says you can't choose a payment method yet. Thanks in advance.

Yes mate you are not alone After checking the boards it seems it can take sometime before they update and you are able to login. |

I will be thankful if you can post here once they got the solution as I'm not able to open their site anymore. :( Have a feeling they just turned it off to stop the ticket spam. |

You all do realize that this happened because Standard Edition Head Start started right? If you were in Open Beta and you have your Head Start key, just go to the website and put in your Head Start key and you can log in. Got in now - seems to be fixed Thx god - another min of this endelss battle to get into the game is beyond everything acceptable when you just want to enjoy what you payed for in the first place. I will continue to send mails to EA to get my 3 day headstard mess up sorted. |

I can't even retrieve my old password from my login because the box where i'm supposed to type my email is not working so i can't activate my code and start patching. Damn froggy homepage. ___________________________________________

Well i installed throught EA DM ( Activated while d/l the game on the EA Store using the email ) Then like at 6 am i attempted to patch the game ( had the authentication issue , so i went to bed ) When i wake up i still had the same problem , couldnt run the patch due to auth problems went to the euro webpage ( the login was grey ) so i inputed my details on the code bar ( using my account info ) and the WARSEA that i had from EA ( the same one i used to activate on the EA Store ) , after inputing the last letter of the KEYCODE the submit button appears , clicked on it and a popup appeared saying that i would get a confirmation email ( meanwhile the login on the patcher started to work when i attempted running it after the input of keycode ) 5-10min after i got the confirmation email ( nothing special just saying i had the 1month activated and the game activated ) patcher is still at 60% ( slow as well -208mb update )

My fellow europeans, we are being treated like second class citizens... I know this may sound a bit strong but its how I feel when Mythic places us at the mercy of GOA. I, like many of you, cant start the patcher because im being told my log-in attempt was invaild. Im even staring to worry that Im not remembering my account details correctly and I cant retrive them as the EU portal of the website has the account section greyed out, I dont even know why this has been done, I registered with the website a long time ago and no longer have the confirmation email. I havnt recived a confirmation email from GOA concerning my attempt to register my product key... this worries me. Perhaps im being impatient but I have been waiting almost 2 hours.. but ive a feeling the yanks arnt having these sort of wait times or problems while trying to get the game up and going. I understand that this is launch day and that things do go wrong but GOA have had the same problems with beta and they have had the head start period to sort these problems out... why are they still persisting ?
Not to mention that our website is medicore at best compared to the attractive layout of the American counterpart plus it has great functionality with things like the herald, the realm war and current server stats. Where is ours ? Will we even get these features ? Oh well I guess i'll wait it out on the confirmation email with the rest of yous lads, good luck.
I have faith I will be playing soon and loving WAR but this has been a trying start on GOA's behalf...

I registered the code, but can't log in, what am I doing wrong? I have no email, but the website hasn't said I should get an email tho, so confused. Might have to take the game back if this keeps up, no point in paying £30 for a game I can't play. |
