Lets see.... AoC was over hyped and shit? And they barely reached the numbers that WAR is before launch? You really make me laugh with your stupidity. |

I could never get into it for reasons I won't go into here... but suffice to say, it left me wanting for something more challenging and not so fast-paced. That said... Man, I can't help but cringe at your posts. I mean, you're obviously a big fan of WAR and that's great. But you are making some really... *really* bold comments that, frankly, not even Mythic themselves can predict. Saying 3-5 million players will migrate, etc is a wonderful thought and, when you're really into something it's easy to believe that "everyone else" would feel the same.. But that's not how it turns out in reality. So, to come out and make statements like that... well, like I said... it makes me cringe. Now it would be great if does do that well. Then when the numbers are official we can all look back and say "he was right" But... for now... I'd only suggest tempering your enthusiasm with a bit of reality - no one knows how well it's going to do and that it's the superior game to anything is your opinion. Many may share it, but it's still an opinion. Put simply.. No one can say how well the game will do. To do so is to look a bit ridiculous. |

Pretty much the same reason why so many people feel screwed by food companies selling sub-par goods. Their making money is a motivation that can be opposed to my motivation of enjoying a quality product. A food company can sell you cheap crap that is masked by additives to taste good just to make a measly cent, with no care whatsoever for the good of their consumers or public at large. A honest provider of services that is making a good profit will make an effort to improve his product. In addition this is a good business sense because a happy customer is a returning customer. Blizzard is a dishonest company in that sense because they had the means and the need to improve their product and yet they failed to do so... just out of sheer arrogance and monopolism. Let me repeat a figure again: 150 million dollars a month. They could have released a TBC-sized expansion every few months with that kind of money, and do it for free and yet turn enormous profit. Greedy creeps. Let's just put that last figure in perspective: WAR cost 50 mil bucks to make. Blizzard could have released 3 new Warhammers per month... and now all the sheep are jumping up and down in excitement because Bliz deigned to sell them one crappy world PvP zone for 50 $ after 4 years of grind. They are making 3 games (SC 2, D3 and 1 MMO not anounced yet on top of LK, so afraid your argument is a bit unfounded. Out of those 150m you need to take out the costs for running WoW and salaries of their staff. They release more free content than most MMOs, and good quality content too.
You are saying that they are greedy for releasing 1 expansion every 2 years and asking players to pay for it... We'll, I wonder what you would make of SOE for releasing an expansion every 6 months that added very little to the game. They keep improving the game, just look at WoW at release and now, so your point about them being dishonest is also out of the window.
The reason you don't like Blizzard is simply because you feel they are too big now and don't want to make them bigger, your other points are based on fantasy. |

Like I said AoC was a joke from the beginning they never reached the numbers until after release and now their numbers are in the shit hole. I am not a fanboi I state facts get your information correct child and maybe you will be able to joint he adults again. I hate trolls like you.
I been around long enough to know when an MMO will hit it big I was with Wow since Alpha and that alone and what I said during the whole development says enough too bad you wasn't there to see the same predictions while people mouthed me just like you are. I don't just make shit up. Sorry for your lack of confidence. |

Your amazing use of "facts" is astounding. Just so you know, just because you say it doesn't actually mean it is a fact. Just a little life lesson for you. On top of that you call me child... lets see all we need is a comment about how you make loads of money in real life and we will have a classic 12 year old's rant. But, I think I am just falling for an obvious troll. If you aren't a troll and actually believe what you say, I truly feel bad for you. I'm guessing you are a disgruntled WoW player seeing your vendetta you have against them. Disgruntled for what? I don't know, but your maturity level places you perfectly in WoW. Wow you have a warped and twisted incorrect opinion.... WAR will take anywhere between 3-5 million players from wow in its first 3 months watch it. AoC is a joke, all hype no play. This game ha already sold 1.5 million pre orders, no MMO has done that not even AoC after release. Servers are packed before launch what more do you honestly want? Go suck on Blizzards vomit they spewed out into WoW with each passing patch they destroy the game and the franchise further. They know they are in trouble look at all they changes they are doing recently to try and offset people leaving only to make more leave. They had their time its over now its the time for WAR!
LOL! you are out of your mind. I give this game a month, before you "vomit" all over your moniter after constantly questing, grinding and pvping. "Everything the light touches is our kingdom" -- Mufasa |

LOL! You all really make me laugh the fact is with so many childish wow adicts of course there will be plenty of idiots that buy WoTLK. More sure! Afterall wow still ahs the larger population. How many they sell means absolutely nothing to me. As the players that seek better will still leave for WAR. And @ Abrahmm you are no longer worth my time you are nothing but a childish troll.
Sorry but I don't play wow anymore so that won't happen. |

You claim WAR will take 3-5 million of WoW's subscribers(they only have 4ish million western subscribers to begin with, so that would be almost all of them), then say a lot of "idiots" are going to buy WotLK(who is going to buy it if EVERYONE went to WAR?), but then say you don't care how many they sell. Contradict much? I just wish I could figure out what motivates someone inside to resort to "fanboism"... Not just liking a game and defending what you like, because that is natural. No, what I can't understand is what drives people to make extremely outlandish statements, or blatent lies about something or anything in defense of "their" game? Blizzard released a report saying they've only spent 200mil on the upkeep of WoW since launch, so your argument is bunk. There is a point to be made that WAR only cost 50 mil to be created (if that is indeed accurate, I have yet to see anything about that in an article). |

Err... actually, I don't think there's a MMO out there that doesn't have people going into its forums promoting other games and slamming the game in question... WoW included.

As for the little ego trip about "being around MMOs long enough"... Mythic's been around longer than that, and in a much more up-close and personal way. They have a lot more to go on than just a "gut feeling" or strong opinion. They *still* cannot predict just how well the game will do. Whatever the hell has you so damn wound up, I recommend avoiding it for a while. Try decaf or something.

Wrong... Mythics other game is still one of the best and it was made a few years before wow the reason people don't play it is the graphics are really dated and it was time for a new franchise. Please look at the fact before mouthing. |
