Its a shame really, the longer they delay, the more people will be playing other games coming out. Oh well, i understand the need of quality VS. Quaintly ..but the PvP rule set is very much needed.

With 3 months of delays did you really expect anything less? I gave up hope of Funcom hitting any deadline they set in July after multiple misses. |

Well, to be fair, they haven’t been setting any deadlines, due to the fact that everyone will treat it as word, and never account for "Shitt happens".

Here's the thing, when they are so vague. What else is there to think? This is a simple XP/fugitive system, how much testing does it need, on test servers hardly anyone logs into? If there are any problems with this when/if it hits live. I'm cancelling for good. I understood it when they said it months ago, now? To quote your own words "This is getting ridiculous" . For every minute you are angry , you lose 60 seconds of happiness."-Emerson If you can't argue the point don't say anything at all. |

Deadlines was a bad choice of words for this patch on my part, should have been projected dates. But in all honesty they really do need to get this patch right and out to the players. Many people have really been looking forward to this patch and the delays seem to be taking their toll on players. |

If you want to see what REAL Customer Service, Dev Support, and in-game CSR is like, come try out WAR for a couple of months. Then, if you don't like it, AoC might be in a better place. If you DO like WAR, then all the better. Good Hunting |

With this one, they did set a deadline, in no ambiguous terms, that stated it would be out this week, and they were aiming for Tuesday. They haven't ruled out the possibility that it could come out later this week, but they were a little hazy in identifying what the "problem" is this time. Given their history, I wouldn't bank on it coming this week, but I guess stranger things have happened. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |

I am still mystified by how they could release as game adverticed as a pvp game without a pvp reward system from the start? But then again what does work in in this game? Crafting - nope. Raiding - nope. Sieges - nope. Endgame character improvement - nada. Endgame content - not really. You got boobs and choped off heads and thats it. You cant build a game on that alone. The pitfalls of releasing way to early. Combine th emistakes of FC with AOC and SOE with SWG and you have a perfect gameplan of what NOT to do. AOC basically cant win with th epvp patch unless they hit agrandslam and the core game prohibits that from happening Fungerer som det skal |

Im honestly starting to believe something really bad is happening at Funcom. Now of course Im just guessing but I think they've lost a ton of people and they cant get anything done. The failure of AoC coupled with the downward spiral of the stock price must have a dramatic effect of whats going on behind closed doors. Employees leaving, management looking for new jobs, etc etc. Things are looking very very bad for Funcom. |

Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started. |

That is basically my point. They have obviously gutted their dev team and QA team. Ever since launch, nothing of significance has been added to the game. They do very minimal things like making some quests repeatable and changing the price of mounts. They have also done a good job of clearing up some of the client memory leaks, which means they probably have the server/client guys still there, but none of the real developers and designers. And QA.. forget about it. I'm guessing they have nobody inhouse checking stuff except for the people making the changes themselves. When you are competing with games like WOW and LoTRO that have full development teams and content added continuously (and soon to be warhammer i suppose).. it's just not acceptable to expect people to pay the same subscription fee for a game that is on life support. If you are an ex-wow player and want to come back. Scroll of Rez gives 7 free days, boost a character to 80 a realm and faction change. Send me PM for an invite. Only 1 per day available |

Not in a mocking way at all... When MrBloodworth, someone who's demonstrated patience that would impress a saint, is stating himself that it's getting ridiculous, that's saying a lot. To put some perspective on that... For the rest of us, the situation flew past "ridiculous" like it was standing still months ago.

Coming from a technical, programming background, I feel sorry for the actual programmers, they must be under so much pressure from higher management, Im suprised they haven't gone on strike or had mental breakdowns....or have they. People always want things ready "Now" and thats a sure sign for failure/mistakes. The only honest solution at this point would be to clearly DEFINE what issues they are having with the patch, and to inform the paying customers what they are DOING to fix it. I stopped paying last month, so at this point it's a non-issue to me. When I was a paying customer, being placed in the dark and promised some amazingly great tasting carrot only held my interest for three months. Unfortunately the MMO market is expanding, and a little information (aka honesty) on the part of the developer would have gone a long way in my opinion. It seems at this point they are just baiting the remaining customers into yet another monthy subscription(YAMS) with hollow promises. |

The major problem with the patch is that it breaks the combos for 2 or 3 classes (barbarian, ranger and it seems also guardian). The combos are broken due to some delay and sometimes the next move in the combo doesn't work. (there are also some other smaller bugs, but nothing as important as this one). They are now working on this and we should know tomorrow if we will get a patch this week or not (they say they are still aiming for patching this week). |
