It''s one thing to have a opinion, but enforcing one is unconstitutional. |

It all depends on if I want to drive to get a game or have it delivered. The only thing I have ever felt the need to preorder was a PS2 and PS3 which was a good thing I did preorder. It's a Jeep thing. . .

Yeah but why make a intrusive software if it doesnt work. Every game that is so called un piratable has been pirated. After Half-Life 2 was pirated the DRM and SECUROM features should of been scrapped because that was a pretty solid way to fight piracy and they failed what makes u think these Malware programs are going to stop hackers because they do it for the challenge and its like Every year some PC developer tries to out smart them and before the day is even over BAMN your cracked copy. Why i like and support Bethasa (Oblivion) for never putting any anti-piracy things on there games No keys no nothing. Just what i paid for a game. Game sold very well last time i checked. |

Tru tru consoles are a good thing to Pre-Order if you have the money to buy them. I only pre-ordered the dreamcast and it was doing good till PS2 came out =P then became a Epic Failure. But i did like that hackers found a way to play SNES, NES games in crap on it which was cool. Plus you could download any game without a mod-chip and play it on a Dreamcast which i think really killed it. No one had to buy games because the hackers hacked the boot sequence and u didnt need a mod-chip or anything. Just download a game burn it and it worked. |

Oh trust me I know. The only people that are punished are those that run legitimate programs but I am sure companies have to do something to keep the suits happy. What it will eventually boil down to is you will have to do exactly like you do with MMOs. Create a username and password and login each time you want to play. It's a Jeep thing. . .

Stop bashing on Proson, he realizes it was an idiot post thus he stopped replying after he posted it. To Crybabies: Uhm...if a game pisses you off, don't play it - duh. |

Who are they trying to fool? they say 1.5 million sold TO RETAILERS. They didn't say sold to customer etc. If they say retailers and you're fooled into thinking they said players then how many copies of a game a company sells is the LEAST of your problems. |

So maybe they should have said shipped or distributed instead of sold but I don't see it as being a stunt. Now if they just said "1.5 million sold"..and left off the "to retailers" part, then maybe a PR stunt.

It also says """"Over the course of our beta, over a million gamers throughout the world sent a clear signal to us - they want WAR, and we are more than happy to oblige them,” said Mark Jacobs""""" I think that's a hint of how many pre-orders were sold. |

Seems to me they were talking about a personal sales record within the EA company......how many boxes went out to retailers from ONE game. Nothing more nothing less. This is a definite case of reading comprehension. Ok putting aside all that....Congrats EA and Mythic...hope more good happens for you, personally am enjoying the headstart, although ..ended up having to change servers two mornings ago, an hour queue wait...AFTER I created my characters. Server I picked was too popular rofl. No matter. :) Have to say though...took me 15 minutes to create 3 characters, and in that time the server filled up to bursting. I like that message better..........proof in the pudding. :D
