I voted "Maybe". I'm going to wait until the product is released and see what folks have to say about it. By "folks" I mean people whose opinion I respect/trust: friends, certain professional reviewers, and also run-of-the-mill people who are reporting on their experiences with the game.

It'll probably be at least a week or two after launch that I make any sort of solid decision on whether or not to purchase the game.

was going to, but after teh beta im saying no.

its realy sad, but after getting to lvl 15 in a liniair style i couldnt see much improvement for the rest of the game. RvR is nicely set up but something is missing.

Grafics where gogin to get fixed they say, so cant really comment on that, but come on, why doe everything more the 2 meters away have to move like it has mayor lag, even NPC's that almost dont move

Yes. Its the most fun in MMO i had ... since a long long time.

Some naysayers will try to bring it down by saying its not a real sandbox MMO virtual world.

And they are right.

But they fail to say that there are no sandbox  virtual world MMOs anymore, nor are any in production.

And they fail to say that

I think this game will be great success! I love the easy feel of WoW, but also that it requires some skill to be better then other.

I also think the pvp system is brilliant!

Preordered the SE box waiting for tommorrow morning to roll around for early headstart.

I wont be I didn't like WoW and didn't like War. As far as no Sandbox MMO's comming out well I'm waiting on DarkFall which is a Sandbox in development comming out in 08 mind you. Just figured i'd add that lol. War has a decent RvR concept other than that I wasn't impressed which made me a bit sad because I hold the table top Warhammer in high regards. But again im a sandbox die hard other MMO's just don't cut it for me.

Well i preordered and cant even sleep im so excited. i played beta for a week and could not get enough of the rvr. I really did not like wow but i love this. the crafting is sucky but the game play is great. I guess im not alone as 1.5 million+ pre orders have occured. The only thing i regret was not getting the limited collectors eddition. It was very tempting to pay the 200+ they were going for on ebay.

Ive already preordered. Im in the process of drinking myself to sleep right now so I can wakeup earlier and play tommorow before work.

WAR is for the little kids. No brains, no world, no decent PvP/PVE, no MMORPG for me.
Waaaarrgghhhhhh - says it all isn't it? 2 brain cells is all what is needed to play it.

Nah I wont be getting WAR. Im sure it's a very fun game but im having an absolute blast with my current MMO's. Maybe one day in the future but for now I aint thinking about it. :D

Just curious why are we inflicted with these linear MMO's lately.  Heck if I want linear, I can go play Dungeon Siege.  Let me tell you Mythic's brand of Rvr gets old fast.

the interesting thing about warhammer is how little trolling is going on in these forums . could this mean it actually is a good solid game and most people can see that ?

personally i think it would be great to see strong competition for the warcraft style of mmo . i ve liked most mmos i ve played including wow .i cancelled my wow account around the early part of this year . i fully intend to return to it as do i intend to return to lord of the rings and i ll definatly be giving warhammer a try .
